Autumn put her stuff in the trunk, closed it, and then sat in the passenger's seat.
"Thanks for the ride," she said with a smile.
Alex stretched out before starting the car. "Hey, no problem." He smiled.

"So… How long are you planning to stay in LA?" Autumn asked.
"Ahh… two-three days. Just long enough to enjoy myself." He smiled as he pulled out into the road.

"You want a tour?" Autumn asked.
"Tour of what? LA? Nah, I know the area well enough, but if you'd like, you can stay with me."

"Stay with you? As in hang out?" Autumn wondered.
“Well, no, as in stay with me. I can get a penthouse free at certain hotels, mainly cus my dad, but also because I know the managers.” Alex tilted his head. “I’m pretty sure it’s two beds a suite, so we wouldn’t have to share.”

"Oh, I actually have an apartment there," Autumn laughed awkwardly. "Otherwise I might consider it."
Alex clicked his tongue. “Damn. Well, I dunno what you want to do when I’m meeting MJ…”

"I'll just crash your lunch. MJ's used to it by now," Autumn explained. "Unless you'd rather I not?"
Alex laughed. “Nah, I don’t mind, but it’ll be boring.”

"But at least you won't be alone!" Autumn declared with a smile.
Alex laughed a booming laugh. “Right you are!”

"Plus, I get free food. What better than that?" Autumn chuckled.
Alex waved a finger. “By the time you’re done with me I’ll have no money!!”

"Oh, MJ'll pay for lunch, so you don't have to worry about that," Autumn said with a wave of her hand.
"No, I'll pay for it, don't worry yourself." Alex set his hand down on the stick-shift.

Alex hummed. "He'll have to fight me for it."

"Why do you insist on paying?" Autumn wondered with a laugh.
"I am a gentleman it is what gentlemen do best." Alex smiled.

"MJ will bow down to me whether he likes it or not." Alex cackled.

Autumn laughed and nudged him gently.
"He's a manager to all kinds of stars, good luck with that."
Alex laughed too. "If he manages actors like you I think I'll be okay."
