“To the airport? Nah, we got another hour under our belts. Turn on the radio or take a snack from the glovebox if you’d like.”
mOth GIRL COME MORROW I WANT ANOTHER RP WITH YOU
"All right. Cool," Autumn said as she turned the radio on and leaned back in her seat.
Alex smiled warmly at her before looking back out at the road, thrumming his fingers to the song on the radio.
(Bro skip?)
(Sure, to when?)
(When they get to LA?)
(Sure thing!)
Autumn stepped off the plane and stretched.
"That was so much nicer than a commercial flight!"
Alex laughed happily. “I’ll have to tell the pilots that!”
"Well, it helped that there weren't any crying babies or snoring old men," Autumn teased.
Alex nudged her. “Royalty isn’t a sin, it is if you let it get to your head.”
"Oookaaay…" Autumn said, trailing off in confusion.
Alex chuckled happily. “Anyway, we have just enough time to go to Nathan’s and be on time.”
"Great! Then let's go," Autumn said with a smile, stretching once more before she grabbed her things and started walking away.
Alex grabbed his stuff and trotted after her. “It’s only a walking’s distance, which isn’t very far. It’s just around that corner, to the left, then the right and around the corner.”
Autumn clicked her tongue and nodded.
"All right. Do you have a car to rent so we don't have to drag all of our stuff into the restaurant?" she asked.
“We can just drag it.” Alex grinned.
"Ugh, fine…" Autumn groaned playfully.
“Uuugh yes, we’ll drag our oh so heavy baggage down a couple streets,” Alex mocked her playfully.
"My arms are going to fall off!" Autumn complained as she followed.
“Oh nooooo, oooooooohhh noooo!” Alex cried to the heavens.
"Geez, dramatic much?" Autumn chuckled.
“That’s you.” Alex laughed. “You’re so dramatic.”
"What? Me, dramatic? Never," Autumn said sarcastically.
“Ahhh, so dramatic and sarcastic. Greaat.” Alex nudged her.
"It's my job! It's literally my job!" Autumn laughed. "Can you blame me?"
“Ah, yes, but one would think you’d take a break.” Alex laughed.
"But I love it!" Autumn exclaimed with a laugh. "Why would I stop?"
“It must get very stale for you!” Alex looked at her.
"What? Why would you think that?" Autumn asked, giving him a curious look.
“Well, you have to do it all the time!” He raised an eyebrow. “Not to offend you or anything but that sounds hard.”
"Ah, yes. But sometimes I do it for work, and sometimes I do it for fun," Autumn explained.
