“Why don’tcha stay here and say hi!!?” He grinned at her.
mOth GIRL COME MORROW I WANT ANOTHER RP WITH YOU
(I feel like he talks like a European and a Minnesotan combined…)
Autumn shrugged and sat across from him.
"Why not. I'm free for a while."
(That would be cool. It’s kinda how I talk so it reflects a lot on my RPing.)
Alex searched through his contacts and found the unfamiliar one, then tapped ‘Call’. “So, when will he answer?”
(Being from MN, I can fairly say stuff like that without stereotyping us. Lol.)
Autumn shrugged. "It depends on if he's busy or not. If he is, then he might not even answer."
(xD. Also, who should write MJ?)
Alex hummed nervously, fiddling with his fingers. He shut his laptop gently, waiting.
(I mean… I can? That way you don't have to write giant blocks if stuff.)
After the fifth ring, a deeper make voice answered the phone.
"Jacobson speaking, may I ask who's calling?"
(Imean… I could too, I don’t mind writing a lot.)
Alex cleared his throat. “Hi, this is Alexander Langton, calling for some producing help.”
(Nah, it's cool.)
"May I ask how you got my personal number, Mr. Langton?" MJ asked.
Alex grinned. “A lovely lady named Autumn gave it to me.” He glanced up at Autumn.
Autumn looked at her phone and pretended she hadn't heard the comment, though her red cheeks gave her away.
"Of course she did…" MJ sighed. "She really needs to stop doing that with every 'new talent' she finds. What can you do, Mr. Langton?"
“I need some assistance on producing a new album, and was turning to you for assistance.” Alex put on his Mr. Buisness Man voice again.
"An album… You are a musician, then? I may be able to help with that. What genre?" the manager asked.
“Yep. I specialize in Rock.” Alex grinned. “This will be my second album, though.”
"Why don't you cone to my office sometime and we can talk this over," MJ suggested. "When can you get to LA?"
“Yes, I can. What’s the address of your building?” Alex knew LA very well, so he wasn’t scrambling to grab a pencil and paper.
MJ gave him the address. "Second floor, office 2B."
“Alright, sir, what time? I can meet you whenever you’re free.”
"Well, what day can you get here? I'm free most Tuesdays during lunch," MJ said. "We could talk over a meal."
“Sure, sounds great! I can be there, tomorrow at the Nathan’s at that corner if you’d like.” Alex knew the airport was close to that place, too, so he didn’t worry.
"Tomorrow at Nathan's sounds good," MJ agreed. "Does twelve o'clock work for you?"
“Yep! Perfect!” Alex smiled and picked up the phone.
(Would you like to time skip till then or do you wanna have more dialogue between Autumn and Alex?)
(Probably more dialogue, but it's up to you.)
"I will see you then, Mr. Langton. Have a good day," the manager said before hanging up.
Alex tapped the phone to hang up.
“Well. That went well.” Alex smiled.
"It sounded like you got a meeting," Autumn said, looking up from her phone. "If you'd like company, I'm supposed to go to his office after lunch."
“If you’d like. I can order out my jet and we can be there by nine tomorrow if we leave around noon today.” He smiled.
Autumn raised an eyebrow at him.
"You can afford a jet, but don't have a producer?" she asked, a hint of laughter in her voice.
Alex shrugged. “My dad passed it down to me when he died.” He grinned.
"Oh, I'm sorry for your loss. What did he do?" Autumn asked.
“Eh, no matter. He was Secretary of Foreign Affairs, he made a whole buncha money. So he got the family a jet.”
"Convenient for you," Autumn chucked.
