(Do you want to skip to after they've finished eating?)
mOth GIRL COME MORROW I WANT ANOTHER RP WITH YOU
(Sure!)
Autumn sighed when she went to take another bite of the dessert and found the plate to be empty. "Darn… Maybe we should have ordered two," she half-joked with a chuckle.
Alex had leaned back for her to finish the cake after his fifth bite. He burped softly, patting his tummy.
“Maybe for the go, babe.”
"Hm, yeah… Then Jilly could have tried it," Autumn mused with a small smile. "Are we ready to go, then?"
Alex smiled faintly and nodded. “Yep. Ready when you are.”
Autumn gathered her things and stood, grinning at him. "Well, let's go home, then."
Alex shouldered his jacket back on, grabbed his wallet and left a twenty for the waiter. He stood, feeling around for the box.
“Yep! Let’s go.”
Autumn reached over for his hand as they walked out. "Am I driving or did you want to?"
Alex took her hand and hummed softly. “I will. But I wanted to go check out the fountains they have a couple minute’s walk away. I heard they’re really pretty.”
"Oh, sure. A walk sounds nice," Autumn agreed, smiling up at him. "Which way?"
Alex smiled back down at her in return. “Just this way.” He pointed to their left and started to lead.
"So… How has the band been doing?" Autumn asked as they walked.
“It’s been doing great,” Alex gushed happily. “I’ve been writing songs from home for the others to practice so I won’t miss time here.”
Autumn grinned up at him happily. "That's great! I'm glad things are going so well."
“It’s great!” Alex chirrped happily in return. “Thank you. How’s your job going, babe?”
Autumn shrugged and chewed on her lip a bit. “Well, it’s going fine, I suppose… I haven’t been called about any jobs, but I did ask for a bit of time off. Maybe I should take another job soon, though…”
Alex nudged her gently and looked forward again. “Come on, don’t think about that right now. It’s just you and me. When was the last time we could be together like this?”
Autumn glanced over at him and smiled softly. "You're right. It has been a while since we were alone together. I'm glad we can spend time like this."
Alex smiled back, his eyes softened. “I’m glad we can too. It’s so wonderful to be out here.”
"Yeah, it is…" Autumn agreed with a content him as he leaned into him.
Alex smiled a little bit wider, absolutely brimming with happiness. He loved going out with Autumn. And she seemed to love going out with him.
(Gosh, those typos.. Sorry. I tried to fix them but it won't let me… sigh
I meant "hum" and "she")
Autumn most definitely enjoyed going out with him. She loved getting to be alone with him and just looking at him softly. And talking. And teasing each other. And whatever else they did.
(My brain just skipped over them, lmao)
Alex floofed up his hair then stopped. He would need to look professional and attractive if he wanted to propose. His mother would rise from her grave and persoanlly attack him if he didn’t.
(Autumn: What? You? Professional? Babe, I think I've only seen you look professional once. And that was because I made you look good enough for an interview!)
Autumn glanced around as they neared the fountain. Not many people were out at the moment, surprisingly. It was a nice night out, if rather warm. Maybe all the couples who usually roamed this area had decided to stay in for the night…
(Lmaooo
Also it’s night time.)
Alex hummed and stepped forward to the fountain. “My mum used to take me out here. I’d get all wet and she’d just laugh.” He smiled in remiscence.
(Shoot. I knew I was missing something. Lol. I’ll fix it…)
Autumn chuckled and looked up at him again. “I can honestly say that I am not surprised. That seems like something you would do, babe.”
Alex smiled widely. “I never grew up. I’m always a child, since that’s how I was taught.”
“Mmhm… It’s like I’m taking care of two kids, now. One of them is just bigger,” Autumn teased with a playful grin.
Alex laughed and waved his hand. “You love me anyway.”
