"That's really cool. Are you any good?" Autumn asked. "Wait, sorry. Of course, you are. You said you were at a concert,"
mOth GIRL COME MORROW I WANT ANOTHER RP WITH YOU
“Yeah. There were a whole bunch of people there. My bandmates and I had a good time, the fans certainly did too. One girl-“ He cut off. “Sorry, I’m showing off.” He turned a faint red.
"No, no! You're fine," Autumn assured him with a laugh. "Please, continue."
He smiled a little. “This one little girl had a guitar that was almost like mine. She had a tee-shirt on and everything; it was so cute. She and her dad had backstage passes so I had lunch with them.”
"That's really cute. What band are you in?" Autumn asked, taking another bite of her French toast.
“It’s not really a band. I just hired people for my rythym sections.” He smiled nervously. “It’s basically just me, though.”
Autumn nodded slowly as she finished chewing, then swallowed before speaking.
"That sounds cool. Maybe I could hear you sometime?" she wondered.
“Sure. I’m more of a Rock artist, though, so…” He shrugged. “There are a lot of Rock fans, but if you’re not I understand.”
"I like all sorts of music. Rock is pretty good," Autumn said with a smile.
Alex perked up a little. “Cool! Then I guess I can sing one of my songs for you sometime.”
"That sounds great! Is there somewhere I should meet you?" Autumn asked, finishing up her food.
“You can meet me by my house. It’s the smaller one down the road and to the left.” He chuckled at how unclear his instructions were. “You… you’ll see it.”
"All right. When should I meet you, then?" Autumn wondered.
“Ah, whenever.” He shrugged. “I’ll be around for a while.” He smiled. “You’d be very welcome, just be sure to ring the doorbell first.”
"Cool. I'll try to stop by later, then," Autumn said, moving to stand. "I do have to go, though. Thanks for the company."
“You’re welcome. It was great meeting you.” He smiled up at her. “Hope to see you again.”
"You, too. Hopefully, I'll see you soon." Autumn grabbed her purse and made her way out the door.
He nodded and looked back down at his food with a sigh. Well… finishing food in silence…
(Should we skip?)
(Yes.)
Autumn stood in front of the house she hoped was Alex's. Taking a deep breath, she put on the charming smile that always won the cameras over and knocked.
"Coming!" Called his rough voice. He opened the door; he was wearing a loose v-neck with sweats. This look oddly suited him. "Oh, hey, Autumn!" He smiled unblushingly.
(Unblushingly?)
"Hi, Alex," Autumn greeted him with a small wave and that smile. "Is now a good time to hear some of your music?"
(Ya. He didn't blush. Because he's in basically PJs I thought it'd suit him for the moment)
"Sure, come on in!" He stepped out of the way and gestured towards his home.
(Oh. Lol.)
Autumn blinked at the request, but shrugged it off and stepped inside anyway. If he'd wanted to do something to her, she was sure he already would have.
"Nice place. You live here alone?" she asked, looking around.
Alex nodded. "This was my mum's house before." That explained the floral pink walls of the home. There were pictures of a little family on the walls, and when they walked into the living room, Rock music was playing from a little radio, there was no TV, and there were slightly more modern furnishings. Otherwise, the house was quite nice.
(Why do Americans use 'mum'?)
"Oh. I see," Autumn said, nodding slowly as she continued to look around.
(maybe he's not american xD I use Mum and I'm Italian.)
Alex gestured to his couch. "Make yourself at home. Would you like a drink?"
(Ok, but, like, I know Americans who use it, though… Like my very American friend (who just so happens to be on this site, though not often).)
"A glass of water would be great, please," Autumn answered with a smile as she sat on a sofa.
(xD)
Alex nodded and trotted off. The couch sunk under her as she noticed the coffee table. It had multiple ramen noodle cups on its surface, a tissue box, and a laptop that was in sleep mode.
