"Um…" Autumn checked her watch, and her eyes widened. She glanced up and gave Alex an apologetic look. "I'm really sorry, but I'm supposed to meet my sister, and I'm already going to be late."
mOth GIRL COME MORROW I WANT ANOTHER RP WITH YOU
Alex made a soft look of diappointment. “Aww, I’m sorry! I didn’t mean to hold you up!”
"No, no. It's all right. It wasn't your fault," Autumn assured him, waving off his concern as she stood.
“A-alright, have a nice rest of your day!” Alex rose to walk her out.
"You, too. Thanks for having me over," Autumn said with a smile as she walked to the door with him.
(Bang bang filler filler because i caught this at 15 seconds)
Alex opened the door and stood out of the way. “Come back over any time!”
(Lol. Geez.)
"I might take you up on that offer," Autumn told him, still smiling. "My days here can get pretty lonely."
Alex beamed. “You’d be very welcome!” He meant it, too.
Autumn smiled back at him for a moment before stepping toward her car.
"Thanks for sharing your music with me. I'll see you around," she said.
Alex bowed. “Thank you for listening! I’ll get you demos of them if you’d like.” He grinned back up at her.
"That would be great! Maybe you can give them to me later, though? I really do have to go," Autumn reminded him gently.
“Well, yeah! I don’t even have them played out yet,” He admitted with a shrug. “See you!”
"Oh, duh," Autumn laughed a bit, starting toward her car again. "See you later, Alex."
“Have a great day!” He waved her off.
(Skip?)
(Yeah, sure. You start, this time?)
(whew okay. How do you want it to start out?)
(shrugs Idk… Where should we even start, in the first place?)
(I don’t knoooowwwwww ummmmmmm)
(Lol. We're indecisive…)
(What if… It's, like, a few days later, and they run into each other at the cafe again?)
(Hmmm mkay!)
It was a bright early morning. Alex had gotten up early to avoid the heat wave in the area, to find a good seat, too.
Autumn sat in the spot she had just a few days prior, sipping a cup of iced coffee as she looked down at her phone. One of her movies had just been released, and the reviews were going crazy. Some people loved it, while others didn't much care for it. That was the way it was, though, so she was used to it by now.
Alex relaxed into a booth this time, pulling his laptop out of a sidebag. He set it down with a click. He opened it, typed in his password and put his headphones on.
Autumn glanced up from her phone to look around the room. Her eyes landed on someone familiar, and she smiled a bit. She stood and made her way over to the booth Alex had sat in, tapping his shoulder to get his attention.
Alex jumped and his headphones fell off of his head. “No-no autographs or pictures- oh…” He shook his head. “Sorry! You gave me one damn of a fright!”
Autumn chuckled and smiled at him.
"Sorry about that. What are you working on, there?" she asked, moving so that she stood in front of him, rather than behind.
“Just music.” He grinned. “The new ones for my next album. It’s being released soon!” His face fell. “I still don’t… have a producer, though, so I’m swamped in work…”
Autumn clicked her tongue, giving him a sympathetic look.
"Darn… Did you happen to call MJ, yet?" she wondered. "He could probably help you find one."
“What? Oh! I totally forgot about him! I could call him now.” He tugged out his phone.
"You do that," Autumn laughed. "Tell him Autumn gave you his number."
