Bachelors will be bachelors, I suppose, Autumn thought when her gaze glanced over the messy table. She smiled and laughed to herself, shaking her head.
mOth GIRL COME MORROW I WANT ANOTHER RP WITH YOU
Alex walked out from the kitchen with a cup of water. "Here you go!" He handed her the cup and shut his laptop swiftly. "Don't want anyone to see that… no sir…" He lifted it up.
"So, how've you been?" He smiled.
Autumn raised an eyebrow at his behavior, but she smiled and took the cup.
"I've been pretty good. Busy, but good," she answered. "What about you?"
"I've been okay. I've been writing some new music for my new album…" He hummed happily, imagining the new jazzy tune he wants to take up.
"Oh, really? That sounds cool," Autumn said with a smile. "Could I hear some of it?"
(Oof. The name 'Autumn' is really throwing me off. Idk if you knew me as AutumnBlaize…)
(I think I did… I didn't talk to you much, but I saw the name. Did you wanna change it?)
He frowned a little. "Yeah, sure. I'm not quite done with it.. but…" He opened his laptop and typed in the password, his own stage name, in to unlock it. He found the brief recording he made and played it. Issued from it a voice that was (if she knows him, idk if you want that type of relationship) familiar yet different from his own, but oddly like it, sung of rain in the first few verses to a jazzier type tune, with a gentle roll in the background, and a complicated number of rifts from a guitar. It sounded very Rock-ish, but jazzy, too.
(No, lol. It's just weird 'cause I feel like I'm talking about myself.
What do you mean "that type of a relationship"?)
Autumn nodded her head to the music as it played. When it finished, she smiled at Alex.
"That was really good! You did that yourself?"
(.p.
Like if you want her to recognize his voice as POLL's and be a fan, or be a newbie to him)
Alex smiled at her compliment. "Thanks! Yes, I did. I'm going to send it to my bandmates and we'll hopefully learn it in time for our next concert."
(Ah, got it. I thought of that while I was doing dishes. Lol.)
"That's really cool! Oh, I don't think I caught the name of your band," Autumn mused, tilting her head to the side slightly.
"It's just me," He corrected, staying away from the question, hoping she didn't push it. He shut his laptop.
"Right, I remember you saying that," Autumn said, nodding. "You're really good."
"Thanks!" He smiled warmly at her. "I think you'd be able to hear some of my songs on the radio, they're rather popular at the moment."
"I'll be sure to listen for them. So, do you go by a stage name or something?" Autumn asked, resting her elbow on her knee and her chin on her hand.
"Mmm, I happen to." He smiled a little. "Did you want to know it by any chance?"
"I would, yes," Autumn laughed lightly. "You seem to be avoiding telling me, though."
Alex sighed. "As long as you don't tell anyone, okay? My producers don't want FBI agents following me around everywhere yet."
"Trust me, I would never," Autumn assured him, adding under her breath, "I understand more about needing privacy than you know…"
Alex squinted. "Oi, just because I'm a Rock Star doesn't mean I didn't catch that. What do you mean by that?"
Autumn's eyes widened slightly. He wasn't supposed to hear that.
"Nothing," she said, shaking her head. "It was nothing. Continue, please."
"I'll tell you my stage name if you fess up." Alex grinned; I'm a genius.
Autumn blushed and looked down at her hands, which were now folded in her lap.
"I… Ohmygosh. You're cruel," she said, looking up at him with a slight smile.
Alex put his hands on his hips. "Agree or decline, mate." He smiled triumphantly.
"Then I'll decline," Autumn said, smirking. "For now."
Alex gave a sigh of soft relief. “Good. Cuz I dunno if I’m prepared to tell you.”
Autumn laughed. "Well, I can't tell you, either. So I guess we'll both have to wonder, won't we?"
“Yep. Unless you really wanted to know, then you could just look up-“ He cut himself off.
Autumn raised an eyebrow. "Look up…?"
“Nothing. Don’t look up anything.” He grinned hastily at her, suggesting lying and foul play.
"Okay, don't tell me, then," Autumn laughed. "Like I said, I'll just wonder about it until you tell me."
Alex frowned. “Alright… If I tell you now, will you trust me a little more? I promise, I don’t want to hurt you.”
