People started to arrive, and she greeted them warmly. Scenes were set up, and they started to rehearse.

Alex had invited his four bandmates over the previous night. They came down in his jet and a taxi and was staying in a motel nearby, but was hanging out at his place, talking about the music for their next album.
The four included the bassist, drummer, lead guitaritst and their electronics (mainly keyboard).
The bassist was a laid back woman with short turfty brown hair with neon green tips and almond eyes with blue lightings. Her nickname was B.
The drummer, or general percussionist was also a laid-back fellow with long blonde hair and dark brown eyes that drooped but sparkled when he smiled. He was J.
The lead guitarist was a male as well, but a rather short one who often got mistaken as a female. He had dyed red hair with icy chips of blue in his hooded eyes. His nickname was OP.
The Electronicist was a female who was rather uptight and curious. She had long curly brown hair with gray eyes and pointed eyes. She was generally called El.
Alex had already set up the bonfire in his backyard with a few extra chairs for Autumn and her sister, as well as raw meats nearby in a cooler, as well (in a separate cooler) drinks and veggies.
Autumn was running late, which was completely not her normal. The stupid plane had been delayed, so she was about an hour late.
"Crapcrapcrapcrapcrap! And I can't tell Alex because of the stupid plane!" she groaned.
Alex glanced over his shoulder at his gate. “Huh, it seems like Autumn’s late…”
“Hey man, just relaaaaax,” purred his bassist, who was chin to knee in her chair.
Even Autumn's sister was wondering what had happened to her. Thankfully, even though she was about an hour late, Autumn got a cab very quickly and was dropped off at her house.
She greeted her sister breathlessly before dropping her things off in her room and grabbing the keys to her car.
"C'mon, Kayla, we're already late!" she said as she tried to get her sister out the door.
"That's not my fault! You're the one who was late," Kayla argued as she put one last coat of lipgloss on.
"Which was totally not my fault. My plane was delayed; I told you that when I got here," Autumn explained again, walking out the door without her sister. "I'm leaving. Now hurry up of you want to come with."
Alex looked at B with an exasperated look. “If I were to relax as much as you are right now, I’d be a cripple.”
El gave a warm laugh, relaxing herself (finally) into the chair. “B has a point, though, A.”
Kayla grabbed the rest of her things and ran out the door behind Autumn, who locked it behind them. She made her way over to her car and climbed into the driver's seat, starting the car. Once Kayla was buckled in, she drove to Alex's.
Alex huffed at El. “Not all of us can relax like her. Autumn could’ve gotten hurt!”
"In a hurry much?" Kayla teased as she put her mascara on using the car mirror.
"Yes, actually, I am. We're very late, and I just realized that I forgot to let him know why," Autumn said as they drove as quickly as legally allowed.
J shrugged his shoulders. “From what you told us, Autumn sounds like a tough soul. She’ll be all right.”
Autumn finally pulled up to Alex's house about an hour and a half late. She jumped out of the car as soon as it was parked and walked up to the front door to knock.
J threw his head back. “Speak of the devil.”
Alex leapt up and answered the door, looking worried and relieved.
"Hey! I'm so sorry, my flight got delayed and I forgot to let you know, and then I couldn't because I was on the plane, and then I forgot again because I was in a rush to get here and Kayla was taking forever and I had to put my things away," Autumn rambled with an apologetic smile.
Alex waved his hands. “It’s fine, it’s fine! You’re here and safe, come in, guys!” He beamed at both Kayla and Autumn.
Autumn took a deep breath, needing the air after her long-winded explanation. She smiled at Alex and stepped inside, Kayla on her heels. The younger woman looked around in awe, a light blush coating her cheeks. She looked completely starstruck.
Alex lead them through his neat and dandy house then to his backyard. His four bandmates perked up, grinning in greeting.
“Hey there! You must be Alex’s lost company!” Joked B, who looked especially pretty lounging in the chair.
"Yeah, I'm so sorry to keep you all waiting! I'm Autumn, and this is my sister Kayla," she introduced herself and her sister, gesturing to her.
El waved a hand, smiling shyly. “Hi there. I’m El.”
“I’m B,” Alex’s bassist grunted, grinning.
The lead guitarist, the quiet man, merely nodded. “I’m OP.”
J gave a loopy grin. “J. It’s a pleasure.”
"It's nice to meet all of you," Autumn said with a smile. She glanced back at Kayla, who was biting her lip and looking at the ground, suddenly shy. "Kayla's a big fan of you guys."
Alex laughed gently and gestured to the chairs. “Then let’s get to know her. Her and I hardly had time to talk.”
Autumn took a seat gratefully, and Kayla sat beside her.
"Hey, what happened to that confident, sassy girl who practically exploded when I told her about today?" Autumn whispered, bending over to speak in her sister's ear.
"She wasn't facing her favorite band," Kayla hissed back.
Alex plopped down between J and B. B rose curiously, peering at Kayla.
“So! Who are you, then?”
Alex nudged her. “Don’t be so hasty. She can talk on her own accord.”
"Oh. Um, I'm Kayla, like my sister said. Kayla Regallia," the young woman said, looking up with a shy smile. "It's so awesome to meet all of you."
Alex beamed; J nodded, smiling himself; OP stayed silent and emotionless; B laughed gently; El gave a gentle hum and smiled just as shyly back at Kayla.
