Autumn rolled her eyes and poked him in the side. "You probably would have given me the money, too."
mOth GIRL COME MORROW I WANT ANOTHER RP WITH YOU
Alex rolled his eyes. “Of course I would’ve. I’m honorable like that.” He beamed jokingly and poked her back.
Autumn squirmed when he poked her and took a step away, sticking her tongue out at him.
Kayla rolled her eyes at the pair, clearing her throat.
Alex stuck his tongue out at her in response, taking no notice at Kayla’s attempt to capture his attention again.
Autumn scrunched her nose up at him and crossed her eyes.
"Hey, lovebirds," Kayla called.
Alex imitated her, yet hunched over as if giving the effect of being hunchbacked.
J rolled his eyes. “Do you want to go somewhere else, Kayla?”
"Please," Kayla sighed, blushing as she rolled her eyes and slipped her hand into his. "Maybe these two would like to use this room."
Autumn raised an eyebrow at her sister, though she was blushing as well, having caught her meaning.
Alex grinned sheepishly. He stepped out of J and Kayla’s way with an exasperated huff.
“You two can go do that in the basement.”
Kayla perked over at J out of the corner of her eye. Would he want to…?
Autumn chuckled a bit at the suggestion, also stepping out of the way.
J smiled at her. “Shall we?” He started to walk.
Alex shook his head, feeling distinct jealousy.
Kayla smiled and followed him, gently squeezing his hand.
Autumn silently watched them walk away, her head titled to the side without her knowing.
Alex shook his head as the other pair disappeared. I doubt they’re going to do much…
“So, what now?” He asked, turning to Autumn.
Autumn blinked as she shook her head and turned to Alex.
"I don't really know," she admitted with a shrug.
Alex bit the inside of his cheek. “You wouldn’t want to… kiss or anything?”
Autumn snorted and bit her lip to hold back a laugh. Once she had composed herself again and taken a deep breath, she raised an eyebrow at him.
"Or anything?" she teased. "That's teally how you asked?"
Alex rubbed the back of his neck. “Er… yes? How else am I supposed to ask? Or were you expecting me to just scoop you into my arms?”
"No, I wasn't," Autumn said, shaking her head with an amused grin. "But that wasn't what I was expecting, either, if you couldn't tell."
Alex turned a faint red. “Well, which would you rather? Me ask or just scoop you up?”
Autumn smiled and shook her head.
"I would prefer you ask, but that's not what I meant…" she sighed and looked around for a chair, sitting in one when she found it. She shrugged, unsure of what to say next. "Why don't we try this again?"
Alex sat down in his chair with a huff. “How am I supposed to ask? Like, “Oooh do you wanna kiss?” No one asks like that.”
Autumn shrugged. "I don't know. I don't think I've ever actually been asked before…"
Alex gazed at her thoughtfully. “Really? Then… you wanna kiss?”
Autumn chuckled and leaned a bit closer to Alex.
"Sure, rockstar. We can kiss."
Alex smiled a little and leaned forward to meet her. “Glad I asked, huh?”
"'Course. Didn't you know? I've been dreaming of this," Autumn teased with a wink.
Alex chuckled gently. “Something tells me that’s true, despite the tease.”
Autumn rolled her eyes, slowly leaning close enough that their noses were touching.
"I mean, I wouldn't say I've been dreaming of it."
“Have you at least thought about it?” Alex asked faintly. “Cuz I have.”
"Of course I've thought about it," Autumn admitted softly, her cheeks reddening.
Alex shut his eyes as their lips were almost touching. “Nice to know,” he breathed as soft as could be.
