"Nah. I've never been the school type. If I ever did, though, I'd go into robotics."

Aukai nodded. "You could always do robotics as a side job. As for babysitting, what about working in a daycare?"

"Yeah, that's probably what's gonna happen," He smiled again, lovingly.
Aukai smiled then sighed and looked off into the distance sadly. "Wish I could have kids…" she mumbled.

Alex moved his hand through Aukai's hair again, resting it on her shoulder.
"Why not?"
Aukai looked at him. "I'm a goddess. If I had children, the world will fight against them. I don't want to do that to anyone."

Alex was silent for a moment, rubbing Aukai's arm.
Aukai slowly started to cry. "I've w-wanted them for y-years, but…"

Alex leaned down, wrapping his arms around her and pulling her into him.
Aukai cried into his shirt softly, feeling embarrassed for admitting this. "S-sorry…"

"Don't be." He held her gently, rubbing her back.
Aukai sniffed. "It's just… embarrassing… Everyone sees me as just a teen or higher being that shouldn't really be wanting such a gown-up or mortal thing…"

Alex continued rubbing Aukai's back softly.
"I say you would make a great mom. And besides," He cupped her face with one of his hands, "What would they know about it?"
Aukai's eyes were a soft, sad, stormy blue. "Everything." she whispered.

Alex sighed, wrapping his arms around her again.
"Well, I say you would be the best mom in the world. Ever."
Aukai sighed. "Never would get my kids though…" She sighed and snuggled close, closing her eyes.

Alex put his head on top of hers. He closed his eyes, holding her.
Aukai smiled sadly as she rested in Alex's arms. She hummed softly.

Alex rubbed Aukai's arm softly, listening to her hum.
Aukai opened her eyes again and stopped humming to ask, "Do you have anything you need to be doing?"

"Not a thing." Alex looked down at Aukai.
"Do you?"
Aukai shook her head. Then she paused. "Wanna go swimming again? You can meet LuLu."

Alex thought for a moment.
"I would love to."
Aukai smiled and sat up. "Walk or….?" her voice drifted off with an impregnated silence.

"I say it's up to you." He rubbed her arm again.
Aukai nodded. "Ok. I say let's walk. Teleporting is faster, but I want to see the rest of the town."

Nodding, Alex stood and scooped Aukai up in his arms.
"Well then, I'll give you the grand tour." He gave a coy smile.
(Hey, sorry I disappeared for so long. I lost internet access for a while over the summer. I'll be on briefly in the mornings usually, because I don't have normal school anymore, so it's hard for me to get on computers.)
Aukai squeaked, her face flaming red. she leaned closer and nodded shyly, hiding behind her hair as it blossomed water lilies.
