"You come to this school for that very purpose! It's not to act like something you're not! I came here because I'm going to be Queen. And even though I want to rule my kingdom, that doesn't mean you have any right not to act like it."

"I know Royals need down time! That's why my uncle taught me how to sword fight. Because it was something I wanted to do and I wanted to learn it."
"Well fighting doesn't do it for me" said Ricarda.
"Then find your own thing!"
"Well this," She gestured at the courtyard. "Is excessive."
"I lost control for a sec!" said Ricarda sheepishly melting the ice immediately.
"A second? You need to control yourself more!"
Ricarda felt another power build up coming on. "Can we please just stop…" he asked.
"Stop what? I'm not doing anything."
"Why shouldn't I? I have every right to."
"I need you to stop it." Said Ricarda. "Please"
"I'm not doing anything. Stop telling me to do things that I'm not doing."
Ricarda sat down. Frost forming at his feet as he tried to calm his frustration. "I need you to stop making me defend everything about me." He said softly, trying his best to stay calm.
"Then stop defending everything."
"You keep assuming the wrong things about me!" Said Ricarda, "What else am I supposed to do?"
"Tell her otherwise," Raelyn said suddenly.
"I'm trying!" said Ricarda.
"No, you're not. All you're doing is defending yourself."
"I don't like being pressured, I'm not good in verbal battles, I might not act like a royal, but I am!"
"That's…not what I meant."
"Then what am I supposed to say??"
"Whatever comes from your heart."
Ricarda looked down and thought about it for a moment, closing his eyes to think.
"So? Gonna say anything or not?" Camila asked.
"I don't know…" said Ricarda
"You're not very good at defending yourself then."
"I've never had to before!" said Ricarda, "Normally people accept who other people are without forcing them to justify themselves on everything!"
"Well I'm not like most other people! I know what my destiny is and I want it to happen! And j strive to be better than it too!"
"That doesn't mean you have to push other people so hard. Not everyone is as sure as you."
"But they should at least be a little sure of themselves. You don't seem to be."
