Frozenstar laughed and nuzzled her cheek lightly, "Am I that distracting?" He asked, standing and stretching purposefully, "I'll have to keep that in mind" he teased
"aaaahahaha" she meowed as she buried her head in her paws, trying to hide her embarrassment "I'm so screwed." she murmured into her paws
Frozenstar laughed and padded over to her, crouching and nudging her face. In a pouty voice, he said, "Awww is wittwe Moonfeafew distwacted by hew handsome amazing Sexy mate?" He grinned and nudged her against, chuckling
hissssssss "do that voice again and I'll claw your pretty face." she said both teasingly and serious. She shook her head and stretched, "I'm just saying, you're not the only one with attractive characteristics." swishing her tail near his face, she jumped out of reach and smiled challengingly.
"Oh?" Frozenstar's gaze raked her body, smiling. He crouched as well, his tail flicking lazily back and forth. The Tom took a pawstep forward, suddenly hungry to feel her fur against his, their tails twined, her body under his…. Frozenstar shook his head, bringing himself out of his thoughts and refocusing
She saw the familiar hunger on his face as she'd seen on so many others and flinched, he won't hurt me as they did she focused again and started to walk the perimeter of the rock keeping him in her line of vision
Frozenstar obliged and began circling as well, their gazes locked. His tail flicked around lazily and, despite the situation, his muscles still ripple underneath his pelt.

Frozenstar grinned and slowly skunk across the rock towards her, keeping himself low to the ground to appear nonthreatening. It was more of an instinct than anything else. When he got to her, he nudged under her chin and licked lightly, a nonverbal way of asking her to roll over on her back

She obeyed and rolled onto her back "told you were stalking prey, only now have you caught her." she whispered as she licked his chest
Frozenstar stood on top of her, nuzzling her for a bit before licking her face and down to her neck, nipping a spot that he knew to be sensitive. He watched her reaction, nipping again in the same spot
She arched her back, a groan escaping her. "I'm losing to you aren't I?" she smiled and licked slower
"Yes you are" he agreed, his licked moving below her neck and to the rest of her body…

Frozenstar plopped down next to Moonfeather, a stupid grin on his muzzle as he looked at her, pulling her close to him with a paw. He licked her face lovingly, purring uncontrollably
SHe purred against him "furball…" she shook her head as she nestled closer to him "stupid stupid furball" SHe stood and shook out her fur "we've got to go, they'll be looking for us" she whispered but made no move to leave
Frozenstar chuckled and stood with a slight groan, not wanting to leave. The sky became many different colors and the leader sighed, "Yeah, I guess" he admitted, padding forwards and nuzzling her lovingly, "I love you, Moonfeather" he breathed
"I know, otherwise we wouldn't have met tonight." she smiled cheekily and licked him once more before running off "I'll bring more prey tomorrow. I love you." She said before disappearing into the forest
Frozenstar watched her go, a smile on his face before he collected the prey and swam across the river, making his way home. He laid down in his nest and immediately frowned, becoming sad. It was time. The Tom laid his head on his paws and closed his eyes, feeling his stomach clench and his body begin to convulse and seize. He moaned in pain, but did nothing to stop it, ignoring to meows of pain and confusion as Birdthorn tried to save him, his Clan looking on as his body slowed, then stilled.
A few minutes later, Frozenstar woke up with a gasp, his pelt full and shiny again. He looked around at the small crowd gathered, "I'm alright" hr croaked, "Go back to sleep"
The crowd slowly dispersed. Birdthorn gave him some water, poppy seeds, and rhyme, then left him alone. Frozenstar took a moment to catch his breath, then lapped up the herbs, took a few drinks of water, then curled up and fell asleep
Moothfeather arrived at her camp and dropped off her prey "moonfeather, we need to speak." She nodded, worry clenching at her stomach "Is everything alright?" Spottedstar guided her to her den and sat down. "I have called you here for a very important request. I am growing old moonfeather, only 2 lives left before I meet my friends in starclan." she explained gently "Now the clan needs a strong leader, one whos gentle yet fierce and strong. I'm asking you to become my deputy moonfeather. I wouldn't ask if I knew you couldn't handle this." Moonfeather left the den after her reply and slept with her siblings
Frozenstar woke the next day and padded out to his Clan, ignoring the worried looks they gave him. With his new strength, he spent the whole day hunting nonstop, bringing back as much prey as he could, though it wasn't nearly enough for his whole Clan. Around sunhigh, he decided he needed to take action. He grabbed Birdthorn and walked all the way to NightClan territory, his ears perked as he searched for the camp
Moonfeather was helping featherlight with herbs when he smelled him. "no no no no no" she groaned as she shifted to the back of the den, hoping to be mistaken for a patient.
Spottedstar arose from her den "Frozenstar. to what does Nightclan owe this unexpected visit?" she jumped lightly down from her cliff, landing in front of him
Frozenstar, though overwhelmed by the smell of his mate, ignored her as not to cause suspicion. He dipped his head in respect, "Spottedstar. I've come to ask for your help. Leaf-bare has not been kind to us and we are slowly starving. We have already lost three kits and a warrior to starvation, and are close to losing many more" *plus, I've already lost a life… * but, of course, he didn't mention that. Instead, he dipped his head low, "Please, Spottedstar, allow us hunting rights on a small portion of your territory" he begged, looking at the ground
She hated the sight of him begging, and hated spottedstar for allowing him to do so. "I'm sorry to hear about your losses Frozenstar, we have many mouths to feed here as it is," with a sigh, she continued "but I will allow you hunting permissions along the areas of the stream on our territory, no farther. I will have my warriors attack any Stoneclan cat seen outside these perimeters, is this understood? If so, my deputy will show you to the border and hunting areas."
Moonfeather perked her ears up and flinched "great…" She stalked out of the medicine cats den, smelling of herbs and padded up next to Spottedstar "of course." she walked past Frozenstar, keeping her head low and guided him and his patrol to the river banks.
Frozenstar dipped his head to Spottedstar, "Thank you. StoneClan will not forget this" he said before turning and following Moonfeather. He kept silent as they walked, knowing Birdthorn was with them as well
spottedstar nodded and watched as they departed
moonfeather continued to walk with her head down, trying not to make eye contact with Frozenstar or anyone of his cats on patrol. They reached the river, a few feet off from the rock. "you are allowed to hunt along these banks, no farther than the oaks, until your prey is replenished on your territory." she lept to the rock, keeping her back to the patrol and watching the sun.
Frozenstar dipped his head, "Thank you. StoneClan is in your debt" he said before leading his patrol back across the river, glancing over his shoulder and meeting Moonfeather's eyes once before turning and running back towards his camp
She nodded at him and turned to run back to her own clan, looking back and blinking at him as she met his gaze
Frozenstar relayed the good news to his Clan, then took a patrol over there immediately, pleased to catch almost twice as much prey as they normally would on a patrol. He smiled. Was this StarClan's way of saying they were okay?
"what made you change your mind?" Moonfeather asked spottedstar as she entered her den. "I saw an opportunity and took it, now if we ever need a favored know who to ask first." Spottedstar replied easily. "If you are to become leader, you need to learn these things quickly." Moonfeather shook her head and left the den "I will never be the leader who takes advantage of anyone." She declared and ran off to the forest to meet up with frozenstar
The end of the day came. Frozenstar hesitated, then summoned his deputy to his den.
"Yes, Frozenstar?" The calico she-cat meowed, her one Amber eye slightly worried, "are you okay?" She turned just the right way so that the three long scars over the right side of her face shone in the setting sunlight.
"Im fine" Frozenstar purred, "However, I need your help. You may have noticed lately that I leave at night, and don't return until dawn"
Maplefrost nodded, though she kept her muzzle shut and listened.
"That is because" the leader let out a breath, suddenly nervous, "I'm… I'm seeing someone. A warrior from another Clan" Frozenstar hesitated, waiting for her reaction.
Maplefrost was silent for a moment, looking down at her paws. Then, she looked up, "How can I help?" She meowed quietly.
Frozenstar smiled, "I just need you to cover my absences at night. That's all"
The she cat purred, "Of course, Frozenstar"
He smiled, "Thank you" the tom stood and touched his nose to hers, "StarClan be with you"
"And you" she smiled
Frozenstar slid out of the den past her and leapt down onto the savannah, running towards the river. His muscles rippled beneath his pelt, which shone bright under the moon, a stark contrast to his look the previous Night. Soon, he made it to the river and leapt on the rock with ease, settling down to wait for his beloved
Moonfeather picked her way slowly through the forest. She needed time to think about what Spottedstar had said, and the questions she had for Frozenstar. She reached the edge of the treeline and looked hot the Tom. She smiled when she saw him on the rock and jumped out onto the bank. Jumping into the water, she dragged herself onto the rock and sat, trying to think of what to say next. "Why didn't you tell me?"
