(Sorry! I lost this rp for a little bit)
Jasmine headed out halfway through the doorway before she paused and turned back to Grayson. Even though she couldn’t hear his thoughts, she felt she just had to ask if he wanted to join her “You can come with me if you want. Francis will be fine here for a second.”
(That’s fine, no pressure or anything :)
“Okay..” Grayson smiled gently, slightly relieved. He could still feel his heart beating heavily throughout his body. Who knew talking to people would make him this anxious. Maybe it would be best if I just stayed at home.. He thought as he followed Jasmine.

Jasmine stood on her tippy toes to reach the top shelf where the cookie box sat. “He really loves these things,” she chuckled, “They’re not even amazing or anything.”

Grayson laughed softly, watching her and glancing around the kitchen. “He’s probably just glad to have them.”
Jasmine chuckled in return, “Probably, plus he doesn’t have any gourmet cookies to compare them too. They are pretty tasty.”
“What the heck is a gormet cookie?” He laughed softly, slightly confused as well.
“Like…” she paused to think, “A chocolate chip cookie, but it has just the right amount of sweetness, and the chocolate is perfectly melted? I don’t know how to describe it,” she laughed, “Just like, a baker who has baked cookies all their life just made a fresh batch?”
“That sounds delicious..” Grayson replied with a small nod. His mouth watered at the thought of it. He couldn’t remember the last time he’d had something like that.
She leaned against the counter, "Now I'm getting hungry just thinking about it," she humored, "Whenever I'm not grounded we'll have to go to a bakery sometime and get that." She grabbed a handful of dry cookies from the box, then tucked it back into his place in the cupboard.
"Yeah, maybe." He replied, smiling slightly and glancing down at his shoes. He looked up and out the window towards town, wondering how many bakery's there were.
"Ready to go back upstairs?" she walked over to him, "Or you could grab a snack first." She paused before asking, "Have you had dinner yet? I'm sure we have leftovers, we usually do."
"No I haven't, but it's okay, I'm not that hungry." He said, shrugging and ignoring the fact that he was starving. It wasn't unusual for him to go without food for a day or two. Sometimes his dad forgot to give him food, or even get some for himself. He was used to it though.
Jasmine furrowed her eyebrows, standing a pace or two from him. just far enough to touch his shoulder if she wanted to, "Are you sure..? It really won't take long to warm something up. I'm absolutely positive that my parents won't mind."
“No, no. I don’t want to overstay my welcome.” He replied, glancing down at his shoes. “It’s fine, really.”
Part of him really wanted to accept her offer but the sensible part of him knew if he ate more than a couple bites of food, he would probably throw up.
