“More like shapeshifting and teleportation. Not so much space..” He replied, leaning back down to the couch, “What about you?”

“More like shapeshifting and teleportation. Not so much space..” He replied, leaning back down to the couch, “What about you?”
She nodded, much prefering his genra than the typical furlturistic readings she did. "Me? Oh I make sculptures of sorts. With misilaneous objects. It's not an actual job but I find the charm in the little things people look over."
group
“Oh wow.” He nodded, “That’s really cool. Do you sell them?” He scooted over to give her room to sit on his couch.
"some, most I keep or give away." She said, nodding her thanks and taking a seat next to him. "You have a beautiful home."
group
His mouth curled into a pleasant smile, “Thank you.. believe it or not I don’t do all the cleaning.” He chuckled, “Someone comes once a week to help clean and do the landscaping.”
"well, they do a great job." She nodded and glanced around. "Any other pets besides your hamster?"
group
“No, not yet.” He shook his head, “I’m looking online to get a cat, though. They seem easy enough to take care of without a leg.”
She made a face and laughed "won't a cat eat poor Sam?" She asked, focusing back on Matt
group
“Hah! I’ll keep them away from each other,” he chuckled, “Or at least I’ll keep a spray bottle handy.”
She laughed along "you'll need two, one in each hand" she said through the laughter
group
“One for the hamster and the other for the cat! Sam’s bit me two times, I wonder what he’d do to a cat!” He laughed even harder.
"maybe let the cat have some fun with Sam for a little redemption." She laughed, shaking her head "not too badly injured l, are you I hope?"
group
“Yeah, I usually keep Sam in a cage or a ball anyway. That would be hilarious seeing the cat bat Sammy around the living room in one of those plastic things” He humored,
"new game of soccer." She said with a grin "poor Sam will be dizzy by the time he gets out of the ball. like a drink little hamster."
group
Matt snorted, “The poor little thing! But he honestly deserves a little torment after what he’s put me through.”
Ferris pinched her fingers together "just a bit." She glanced around "where is the little thing anyways?"
group
“He’s in the media room just across from my bedroom. Down the hall.” He replied, “Would you like to see him?”
She nodded shyly "sure." She stood slowly, letting him get up first
group
He hoisted himself up with the cane, suppressing a small grunt from the effort, “Okay, it’ll be just a second.”
She nodded And started walking around." Mind if I look a look around "she asked
group
He thought for a moment, “Um..yeah, that’s alright.” He stood up straight and stretched, “All good.”
"you're sure? I can just stay on the couch." She said, feeling as if she had intruded.
group
“You at least wanted to see Sam.” He leaned against the wall on his right shoulder, “He’s a teddy bear hamster, or at least that’s what the pet store said.”
She nodded and sat back down on the couch "does that mean he's fluffy?"
group
“He’s really soft and supposed to be really docile. But he really does have a personality.” He humored.
"I'm sure he does, he just hasn't had the opportunity to show it," she said with a bright smile
group
“I’ll go get him then.” He mirrored the smile and turned to go get his hamster from the media room.
Ro nodded and glanced at the walls around her, the couch she sat on, the small things on the side table.

On the side table he had put a candle, a used, empty water glass, and a portrait of a young woman with long brown hair cascading in curls over her shoulders. He’d also hung a few paintings around the walls, some classic, some looked like new not-quite-professional paintings of landscape cities and countrysides. The couch seemed somewhat worn but in working condition for premium comfort; a quilt hung down over it to cover the stained fabric beneath it.
Ro looked around at all the photos and paintings around the room. She admired them as she sat waiting for him to come back in.
