Paris (o/o, closed but stalkers are welcome)

Here's the thing. Paris by The Chainsmokers is one of my favorite songs ever. And I have thought sooo much about the lyrics and have tried to figure out the meaning behind them. I feel like they can mean different things and work for different scenarios. So, why not make an rp about it?

It's a one on one, and I'm thinking romance, of course. Preferably fluff.

Yay! So, should we start with the plot line? I was thinking that parts of it could be at a hotel or something since it is kinda mentioned in the song

True, I like that! Should they actually be in Paris or should it just be a metaphor?

Nah I was thinking actual Paris. Goes well with romance and stuff.

So, this part. I'm thinking that my character would be a bit… unstable, maybe? Like, anger managment issues, panic attacks, mood swings and that kind of stuff. I dunno about the further plot tho…

Oo, ok! The character I have in mind has dealt with cancer (depends on the plot whether she’s in remission or not), so that might work well. She’s pretty emotionally stable so she might help stabilize/balance out your character?

Sounds great! So should we start the plot with them meeting or should they know each other but not be together yet, or should they already be a couple? And should we start it in Paris or before that?

Hmm what if they meet in Paris? They could meet when one of them just gets there or at the airport?
Also do we need templates?

Personality: Faye is pretty extroverted and open making friends. She’s sensible, albeit a little impulsive when it comes to relationships. She’s very picky when it comes to boyfriends, and hasn’t had many.
Optional Backstory: When she was 15, she was diagnosed with cancer. She’s been in and out of the hospital with chemotherapy, and finally went into remission recently.
Reason for going to Paris: she wants to escape her family and the life she lived in while she had cancer. She wanted a new environment

Felix likes leather jackets and plain outfits, like a white t-shirt and jeans together with a black leather jacket. He also has a pair of red converse that he always wears.
Personality: He is either super happy and intense and just everywhere all the time, or he's depressed with anxiety and panic attacks. He has mood swings, his mood can change from one moment to another. Felix has anger management issues, but it takes a lot to actually get him upset. When he is in a good mood, he is often very flirty and funny.
Optional Backstory: Things are a complete mess in Felix's family. They fight all the time and he's been abused by his mother who hits him. His father just agrees with everything his mother says. He has an older sister, but she moved out a couple of years ago. His mother has basicly been controlling his entire life since forever, so Felix isn't really used to being on his own. Therefor, he now loves being alone and is kinda scared of people in general. He started living on his own when he was 20, but she still seemed to control everything.
Reason for going to Paris: He left as soon as he turned 22, after a particulary bad fight with his parents. He wants to get a job in Paris and an apartment there.
Other: He has a pocket knife that he always carries with him. He likes to fidget with it whenever he's nervous.

Felix looked out the window of the airplane. Wow. The view was truly amazing. He plugged his headphones in as they started to land. He was nervous as hell. Not only was he starting a new life here, he left his entire old life behind. A backpack filled with only the most necessary was all he brought. Everything else… he would have to figure that out later.

Sitting in a cab, Felix started to doubt his plan. Running away like this, was he crazy? He knew no one here. Big city, small Felix. Not a good combination.

Faye walked through the hotel doors with her bags piled around her shoulders and both elbows, along with dragging a suitcase behind her. She smiled at the scenery, taking a look around at where she would be staying for the next month. If she stayed much longer she would plan on getting an apartment, but for now, this was amazing, she decided. She walked up to the counter to pick up the key for the room she’d reserved.

Felix walked through the hotel doors and disliked it immediatly. It was so… cozy. Nice. He didn't want 'nice'. 'Nice' reminded him of home. Tomorrow he would try to find another hotel. Maybe one outside of Paris, with less people. He walked up to the counter, looking down at his feet as he waited in the line.

The young woman in front of him had five bags and suitcases hanging off of her as she talked to the French-accented man behind the counter, “I made a reservation two months ago sir…I promise I have the receipt, I’ll show you!” She dropped a few bags to dig through her purse while she cursed nervously under her breath, “Room 236, the website told me. One of the fancy apartment rooms.”

Felix listened to their conversation. 236? "Hey," he interfered. "I have booked room 236." He turned to the man behind the counter. "There should be a reservation for it in my name, Felix Titling."

Oh, great. Another social interaction.

The man looked back at his computer, “Yes, I do see a scheduling for Felix Titling.”

Faye’s expression dropped until she found the printed receipt and place it on the table, “See? I have it right here!”

“Oh..” he looked down at the receipt, then to Felix, then back to the computer, “I’m new and inexperienced, but I do see an opening for the room next door. Would either of you be willing to give up the suite and take the regular room next to it?”

Faye pursed her lips, she really didn’t want to give up the room, but it seemed she might have to, “Okay, that’s fine..” she sighed.
