Sighing, Cal jumped down from the corner and put the cake in a container. He didn't feel like having a piece anymore.
Finn went home chewing on his lip the whole time.

Cal woke up the next morning, exhausted from the events that had unfolded yesterday. I still can't believe it.
Finn hadn’t slept all night but when his alarm clock went off at 6:30 he quickly got ready for school. Trying not to think about yesterday.

Thankful his dads weren't at home in the morning to make fun of Cal, he quickly made it to school. "Lets hope nothing awkward happens today." He whispered to himself.
Finn walked to his class. Trying to ignore the fact that he had it with Cal.

As soon as Finn walked into class, Cal asked to go into the hall for a drink of water. I can't deal with him right now…
Finn sat down hesitating a few minutes before asking to go to the bathroom.

After getting a drink of water, Cal hid in one of bathrooms that no one ever really used.
Finn wondered around the halls and stopped In front a bathroom he knew would have been great for hiding. He walked in.

Cal was sitting in a stall on the very end of the bathroom. As soon as the had door opened, he immediately went silent.
Finn looked around the bathroom and decided to just stand at the sinks for a while he took out his phone. “We should talk…” Finn texted Cal.

His phone buzzed silently and he yelled at himself internally. Stepping out of the stall, he looked back at Finn. "W-we should…"
Finn turned to him. Shocked for a second but then nodding. “Yeah I think we should,” He said playing with his hands.

Looking down, Cal just stood there not really knowing what to do. "So…w-what do you think we should talk about..?"
Finn hesitated, he hadn’t thought this far through. “I umm I just I apologize again about making things awkward…”

"Oh um…l-like I said its f-fine.." Cal said quietly, a stuttering mess. He just wanted to go and hide again.
“It’s…it’s obviously not,” Finn said stepping closer to Cal.

"W-what.." He asked, looking up at Finn. I….
“You wouldn’t be hiding in the bathroom if it’s all fine,” Finn admits. Playing with his hands.

What the- am I that easy to read?? Sighing deeply, Cal took a step toward Finn. "O-ok so you're right, it's not fine."
“That’s why I’m apologizing and umm you don’t have to try to avoid me,” Finn said. “I don’t want you to miss out on class because of me.”

"Its not that i'm avoiding you its just…ok i'm avoiding you." He admitted. "But this is awkward for me. To find out the guy i've liked a while likes me back, but nothing can happen?" He looked down. "And me missing class is fine."
"Yeah, I see that. I'm really sorry," Finn said looking down at Cal. "I umm I didn't really know that you actually liked me."

"I…kinda thought it was obvious…" He said softly as he looked up at Finn, their eyes meeting.
"It kind of was but I thought well I'm not really sure I was thinking," Finn admits trying to keep eye contact.

"Oh.." Is all Cal could say. He had a light red tint to his cheeks as he nearly broke eye contact.
Finn realized that what he was saying made no sense and he broke eye contact. Looking around the bathroom.

Cal fidgeted around, uncomfortable with the atmosphere around them. Neither of them knew what to do, though it seemed it was bothering Finn about that more than him.
