He touched the doorknob and smiled. “C-Can we?” He asked wanted to roam the hallways.

"If you want to, love." Lucas pushed open the door and walked out into the hall with Nick, keeping a constant eye on him.

Nick stood up straight and started to walk with a little more confidence. Even though he could see he knew Lucas was there with him. “Just to the end of the hallway and back….”

"Of course, Nick." Lucas held onto Nick's arm and slowly led him down the hall. "How're you doing?"

“G-Good. It’s not a-as bad as I though it w-was. Hopefully I won’t trip,” he rubbed the back of his neck.

"Well, I'll try my best to keep that from happening." Lucas led Nick closer to the wall. "Here, put your hand on the wall. It'll help you stay stable."

Nick did as he said, starting to get more comfortable with walking. When they got to the end of the hallway Nick turned around slowly before walking back. “How far are we?”

Lucas hummed for a second, thinking. "Probably about fifty feet, if I had to guess."

He nodded as he slid his hand across the wall as he walked. "This is kind of fun. It's like you're leading me to a surprise birthday party."

Lucas laughed dryly. "Yeah… not quite as cheerful, though." He was quiet for a second. "Sorry…"

"It's alright," Nick reach the door to their room and he smiled. He turned the doorknob, walking in then closing the door. "I did it!" he got really excited and started to get all jumpy.

Lucas grinned and hugged him. "Yeah, you… you did! I'm really proud of you, love."

"Okay, now I sit down I'm feeling and little tired." he walked forward to the bed memorizing where it was. Nick laid down to put his hands behind his head.

"Of course, love." Lucas lay down beside him and cuddled close, sighing softly.

"I'll be out of here once my injuries are healed. Promise." Nick held up his pinky and smiled.

Lucas smiled softly and linked his pinky with Nick's. "Alright. You better keep that."

(It's only because of Midterms I'm just really frustrated even though everyone gets frustrated)
"Always," Nick kissed his lips softly before putting their foreheads together. "When's the last time I said I love you?"

"I don't know, but I never grow tired of hearing it, darling." Lucas kissed him back, his touch delicate and gentle.

(Yeah… can't wait to cry for the rest of the week)
"Well, I'll say it till death do us part," Nick closed his eyes knowing it would make a difference. "Love you my angel."

"I love you too, Nick…" Lucas sighed happily and buried his face in Nick's shoulder.

He whispered sweet words in Lucas's ear. Even though everything that happened he still was able to love the person laying next to him. He would trade everything just for Lucas. Even if it was the human race.

Lucas smiled happily, a genuine smile that he was sad Nick wouldn't be able to experience. "You mean the world to me, love…"

"You are my world, Lucas." Nick wrapped his arms around his lover's waist and pulled him closer tangling their legs.

Lucas blushed a bit and wrapped his arms around Nick's neck. He was quite thin, so it was pretty easy for Nick to have his arms around his waist. Lucas was generally pretty little.

"I love all of you, my sweet angelic angel. By angelic, I mean clumsy, in a good way though," he chuckled and kissed down his neck.

"Hey, I'm not that clumsy." Lucas whined playfully. "I'm only really unsteady when I'm panicking."

"Right……or when I touch you in certain places when you're standing up, when you run, when you trip up the stairs, don't even know how you do that, and last but not least…..when I have sex with you. You get really embarrassed and clumsy."

Lucas was blushing hard by now, not entirely sure how to respond. "I-I… uh…" He stammered awkwardly.

"Yes, my angelic angel?" Nick asked raising a brow.

Lucas just whined and hid his face, hugging one of Nick's legs with his own.
