"I know that starlight but I want to keep you safe."

Asra cuddled closer to sian, unwilling to move for the time being

Sian cuddled him with a hum, appreciating his warmth.

asra looked up at sain " what was your life like, before turning?"

"It was…normal. Yeah, normal. I had a family, a life, a job. I was just me."

" and this?" he asked "isnt you?"

"Not exactly. Not the way I was. The turning changed me. In a way I didn't expect."

" how so?"he asked softly

"It made me a threat. It made me different, gave me a voice that I had no choice but to listen to. It made me a stranger in my own head."

"im sorry.."

"Don't be. It's not your problem to deal with."

" now can i say i love you?" asra asked, trying to lighten the mood.

Sian laughed, pressing a kiss to Asra's head. "Not yet, my starlight. Not yet."

asra sighed and nuzzled into sian, trying to keep him longer.

Sian let himself stay for a while longer, not wanting to leave Asra's warmth behind.

" sian, i am worried for you, the hunters seem more active then ever now.."

"They definitely are and it's really annoying but I'll be fine. They haven't found me yet."

" promise?"

"Promise, starlight."

asra tucked his head underneath sians and yawned, eventually falling asleep

(Quick note, I'm on vacation this week so I probably won't really be back until Saturday!)

Sian watched him for a minute before slipping away, already feeling his gums tingling as he did. Cut it far too close. Can't risk that again.

asra whined but stayed asleep

The night passed by, Sian needed to take care of some things. Some very bloody things.

Asra woke some time during the night in a fit of tears, one of his regular night terrors again..

Sian was still out, although his senses started to tingle like he was forgetting something he desperately needed to get back to.

Asra wiped his eyes quickly, fighting the tears that didn't seem to want to stop

It was another couple minutes before Sian was tapping at his window.

Asra jumped up and went to open it, " d..doors unlocked.." he said doftly

Sian gave a soft smile before near bolting into the house. "Hey. Um, sorry to just barge in. I just…felt you needed me."

" i- im fine.." asra didnt need to tell the other about this nightmare
