"With one exception. You allow me to do the same."

" alright," he said and nuzzled the vampire

"Good, good. I'll keep you company, my starlight."

"my fangs" he said back

"Is that really what you're sticking with? I mean, it's accurate but really?"

" well what do you want to be called?"

"I don't know, I don't mind it I was just curious on why that."

" because it is a fact you have fangs, but I'm not sure of anything else I could make a pet name from.."

"Well, we can stick with that until you find something. I'm not changing starlight though. You can't make me."

" i dont want you to.."

"Good because I'm not changing it unless I find something better."

" I love you.." he whispered

"Save that for when you know me, starlight." Sian murmured, pressing a kiss to his forehead.

" but it feels right to say it now." He said softly

"I still say save it. It'll feel better when you know me more."

' then how do i do that, other then prying.."

"Pry a little. I don't mind. No one has pried into my life in over 100 years. It'll be nice."

" but im not even sure what to ask."

"Anything. Ask literally anything. There are no stupid questions, only stupid people."

asra gave him a dirty look at his last comment " when are you open to finally stay the night?"

"In a week or so? There are some things I can't and won't subject you to that have to be taken care of."

" but if we are to ever actually know each other I need to be able to handle those things.."

"There's a difference between being able to handle things and me willingly putting your life at risk. I'm not doing that. Not until I know you can handle it."

asra sighed " then show me how to prove to you I'm not fragile as you think I am"

"Asra, it's not that I think you're fragile. It's that you're human. There's a lot of vampire things I need to take care of to be sure I don't attack you in the night."

Asra sighed. " How long do you have to be gone?"

"Just for the night, starlight. Maybe a bit longer. You'll be fine."
