Asra chuckled “ I know I was tryna get you to say it” he teased, smiling softly

"Nope, I'm smarter than that." He kissed Asra's cheek with a smile.

“ awe “ he whined playfully

"One day, starlight. One day I will."

Asra sighed and nuzzled closer to the other

Sian just cuddled him, knowing he needed the comfort.

“ thank you,”

"Don't thank me for doing the minimum."

“ what's the most?”

"I don't know. Guess we'll have to find out along the way."

Asra nodded, yawning.

"Get back to sleep, starlight. I'll be here when you wake up."

“ promise?”

"Promise. Now sleep."

Asra followed, falling easily into sleep

Sian just watched over him, quiet and calm.

Asra curled up to the vampire, sleeping until sunrise

Sian kept his word, watching over Asra quietly.
