Sian sighed and cupped Asra's face. "We can. But please, until I know I can keep you safe, I can't stay around you all the time."

asra nodded, putting his forehead on the others.

"You're far too sweet with someone like me. I don't deserve it whatsoever."

"maybe, but i deserve you," he said and smiled

"Aw, you adorable thing." He pulled Asra into his chest and gave him a squeeze.

asra nuzzled into the vampire, wrapping his arms around the other

"You're so precious, I could just eat you up. I won't, obviously, but I could."

" if you need to feed or whatever.. Im sure I prefuce enough of it. " He said and chuckled

"No no no, never. I would never do that to you. I will never hurt you, ever. Not if I can do something about it."

Asra nodded " alright.." he said and nuzzled into the other.

Sian took a breath, keeping Asra and his fleeting warmth close to him. It felt nice, even if he knew it wouldn't last.

"thank you.."

"For what? I haven't done anything yet."

"for giving me a chance"

"Why wouldn't I? Have you done something that hasn't deserved a chance?"

" I'm human, your vampire. two races that have always feuded

"Well you haven't yet attempted to hunt me down like I'm some kind of monster so until you do, I'll let you stay."

asra chuckled, pulling the other closer and kissing him again "noted." he said

Sian looked away, covering his mouth as he blushed. "Stop that. You're warm and it's weird after being dead for so long."

asra laughed, moving his hand and doing it again. he gently nipped at him

"Starlight, come on. You can't give me this much affection this quickly, you'll spoil me." He whined.

"alright.." he said and smiled

Sian glanced up through the glass observatory ceiling and frowned. "I'd love to stick around longer, starlight, but unfortunately I can't." He looked back down and shot Asra a smile. "I'll be back but I can't stay if I intend to keep you safe."

" alright fangs" asra said softly. " ill be at the house.."

Sian pressed a kiss to the top of Asra's head before stepping back. "I'll be back soon, starlight. Don't forget me." He waved before heading out, disappearing back into his woods.

asra smiled and left, heading home for the night. he cooked and waited at the door for sian. he was anxious for the other to come home

Sian didn't return until morning, rapping at the window where the side of the house was in shade rather than the front door in full sunlight.

asra smiled "fangs!" he said happily and opened the window

"Hey starlight. Told you I'd be back. Mind bringing me something so I don't have to walk directly into the direct wrath of the flaming ball of rage you call a sun? I'll burn to a crisp on contact."

asra nodded and went to go get a jacket. handing it out the window the smaller went to go meet sian at the door
"i missed you.." he said tiredly
