When Sian got inside, he gave Asra a small squeeze. "Aw, already? I was only gone a few hours."

" can you blame me? i feel so safe in your arms!" he said softly

"How precious. Feeling safe in the arms of one of the most dangerous creatures to exist."

" your a big softy and you know it. You carried me all the way home.." he chuckled and nuzzled himself into the others chest

"Okay, I might be but my kind usually isn't. I just find you particularly adorable so I can't get rid of you."

asra gave a soft smile, " do you want something to eat or a nap?"

"No, I'm good. For now. Might fall asleep later but for now, you get me."

" can i lay on you?"

"Yeah, sure. It'll be like a warm blanket."

asra shook his head and laughed "bed or couch?"

"Whichever would be more comfortable for you, starlight."

" Okay, come on," he said and led the other to his room. asra let sian lay down before laying down on top of the others chest, he sighed softly

Sian wrapped his arms around Asra's waist, burying his nose in his hair. "You're warm."

"your cold.." he mumbled, laughing at his own joke

"I know, death does that to a person. The winter is even worse."

" believe it or not, the cold is something I welcome.. I'm always too hot " he said and chuckled

"Impossible, you're so comfortably warm. It's like having a very cuddly heated blanket."

he squeezed sian tightly, " you try being me!" he said playfully and sat up enough to kiss the vampire

"I was you, starlight! I was alive at one point! Now I miss it."

" i dont, it sucks being human," h said and nuzzled the other. he sighed softly

"Eh, it's not all that bad. Better than being labeled a murderer for instincts and getting hunted for sport."

asra sighed softly " i wish i could make you feel better…" he said softly

"Aw, how sweet. It'll be fine, starlight. Very few people know how to actually kill a vampire in today's day and age."

" a stake to the heart, an sunlight?"

"A stake can kill when used correctly but just a plain stake by itself won't do much. It'll severely injure them but it won't kill them. And sunlight just burns. Like, really bad."

" like fire?" he asked

"Not really. It's just like a normal sunburn but on steroids. It's a lot worse and a lot more painful. But it clears up relatively quickly. Only takes a couple days."

" oh wow." he said, scooting up a bit to rest his head on the others shoulder. he let his legs wrap around sians waist. " so what do you do all night?"

"Exist, mostly. Wander around, scare people that cross my woods, eat others that give me a good reason to. Nothing special."

asra chuckled " sounds boring."
