Why do you care, no one does, they don't even remember you're name…no one ever does, especially when you're dead. he sgrowled in frustration and walked over to one of the people on the bench, ligthly touching them on the shoulder with a gentle hand. A soft glow came from his hand a he helped the individule warm up a bit.
Reincarnated hatred
Marco hummed continuing on his way, trying to ignore the cold as another gust of wind tore through his sweater, sending chills through him.
He continued to do this until most of the people were warm. Returning back to his spot, he lied down and glared upo at the sky "you can have me, just not him, got it?"
Marco had moved off the path and into the trees, still half frozen as he watched the other curiously. sighing he turned to head back to his sleeping spot, moving out onto the path, when suddenly he sneezed. Loudly.
Rashe sat up and glared around, thinking it was one of the homeless people but seeing a figure among the shadows "who are you?" He asked, not wanting to use his abilities unless absolutely necessary "I won't ask again" he growled
Marco sighed, stepping out onto the path. "Just me…" he murmured, "Couldn't sleep, and was just heading home…" he shivered as another gust of wind picked up, his sweater offering zero protection against it.
He relaxed and sighed "at 4 in the morning? Don't lie to me Marco, I know you sleep out here at night." He said, siting back down and pulling off his jacket "here, it's warmer than that flimsy sweater
Marco shook his head, "I've got another spot a ways away from here, and I don't need it thanks.." he turned to go back to the rooftop.
"sure you do," he muttered, pulling on his sweatshirt and sighing. After a few minutes, he too got up and headed home
Marco sighed as he headed back, he mentally kicked himself for not taking it. Knowing he could really use the warmer clothing come winter, where he'd probably freeze to death.
Rashe growled softly before heading to his apartment, "damn it…" He turned and headed back towards the park, retracing his steps and trying to find the road Marcos took
Marco slipped out of the park, stifling another sneeze as the wind kept picking up, forcing him to pick up the pace.
He glanced around and sighed in frustration, "you're not supposed to pursue him you idiot, that's how distance works." He chastised himself and he hauled his body up onto a fire escape to get to a rooftop. From there, he hoped to get a better view
Marco stopped a few feet away, looking around to get his bearings, before turning down another alleyway. Almost home… where you can hopefully shelter from the wind and survive the night… he told himself.
He crouched on the roof and glanced around, trying to make out any forms that could be Marco. He saw a few body like figures but none that looked like the other. He saw a movement near an ally way and thought it suspicious. Whether it was Marco or a thug looking g for trouble, rashe got down and made his way over to investigate
Marco hummed as he went, trying to keep his mind off the cold, turning down another alley way. Almost there…
Rashe made his way through the streets and followed who he hoped was Marco.
Marco kept humming softly, eventually turning into another alley, and stopping at the fire escape, pausing to warm up his fingers before grabbing the ladder rungs to climb up it.
Rashe stayed hidden until Marco had climbed up the fire escape. He reached up and hauled himself up to the roof
Marco had just finished retying the tarp around the vent from where it had come loose in the wind, when he spotted someone slip onto the roof, dropping low he tensed, hoping it wasn't some creep.
Rashe glanced up and saw the array of tarps set up. He flicked his hand and brought a small flame into his hand, illuminating his own face and the area around him
Marco shrunk back into the shadow of the tarp, pulling a knife out of the bag that had his only change of clothes, and some soap in it.
Rashe glanced around and sighed. He walked around a bit, not going into the makeshift shelter in case he trespassed more than he had already done. why are you here? cuz you're worried for him? pathetic, he can take care of himself, he's been doing fine without you, why now? Rashe shoved the thought away and headed back to the roof edge, assuming that Marco had turned in for the night. He sat down, and closed his eyes, emitting the same heat as the one he used in the park to warm the homeless people, acting a s a central heating system. it's the least I can do…
Marco stayed still, but relaxed a little when he felt Rashe's heat. Slowly he stood up, confused as to why the other had followed him, and more than a little embarrassed to be seen here. But if there was anyone he trusted this close to him, it was Rashe.
rashe relaxed a bit more, and opening his eyes. He watched the city below and smiled softly, loving the view.
Marco carefully stepped out, from the tarp, watching Rashe warily.
rashed whipped his head around at the noise. He scanned the area and tilted his head, staying quiet but attentive
Marco watched him, noting the other's reaction to his movement. Slowly he stepped out to where he was visible, the wind suddenly picking up again, sending a violent shiver through him.
Rashe stood and shoved his hannds in his pockets "I thought you were asleep." he said softly, the heat still coming from him "So this is where you've been living all these lives."
"Just this one.." he said softly, "Bad luck hit the family I was born into… they couldn't keep me, and my father threw me out years ago…" he shrugged.
