rashe nodded "probably." he walked over to the fire escape and waited for marco "can't you shapeshift?" he asked as he climbed down

Marco nodded, "I can, but I have to be careful…." he said, jumping of and sliding down the walls.

He nodded and glanced down at where Marco had landed "showoff," he muttered, climbing the rest of the way down.

Marco laughed, "Street kid by nature old friend." he said softly.

Rashe laughed "you have your tricks, I have mine." He said, lightly la dting next o Marco

Marco smiled, "I know." he said softly.

"do you now?" He purred softly, leading the way to his apartment through the streets

Marco hummed, but said nothing more as he followed the other.

After an hour or so of walkingc, rashe made his way up the stairs to his apartment. "Bedrooms on the left," he said to Marco, walking over to the curtains and shutting them as light from early morning streamed in "get some sleep," he said, laying down on the couch

Marco hummed, looking around, "Please don't tell me you're giving up your bed for me" he said softly.

He propped himself up on his elbows and looked at Marco "would you rather I slept with you?" He asked, completely serious

Yes he thought, while the rest of him froze and thank god he didn't say that out loud.

He raised an eyebrow "that's what I thought," he said, slight disapointment in his voice. He lied back down and closed his eyes

Marco blinked when he noticed the note of disappointment. finally realizing he was staring he moved to the hallway, "Mind if I use your shower?" he asked.

"go ahead, towels are on the shelf above the sink." He said without opening info his eyes

Marco nodded, "Thanks" he said, taking his shoes of at the door, and heading for the bathroom, stripping once he got there, and turning the water on.

He saluted with a smirk and relaxed Into the couch, at least now I know you'll be safe here.

Gods why did he have to suggest that??? thought Marco as he stepped under the stream of hot water, letting it wash out his greasy hair.

Rashe sighed and got up, not being able to sleep. He headed to the kitchen and grabbed three candles. He set them on the table and waved his hand over them, alighting each on with a flame

Marco washed his hair out with his own soap, relaxing under the hot water.

He smiled softly at the flame and coerced it to bend at his will, shaping it into tall and thin spirals

Marco got out a few moments later, changing into his spare set of clothes, a t-shirt and shorts from summer.

Rashe continued to play with the flames, making them bounce from one candle wick to another

Marco wandered back out to the main room, leaving his bag near the door, humming curiously when he saw Rashe.

He hasn't yet heard Marco come in and stayed in his spot, transitioning the flames to different colors

Marco carefully sat down across from him, intrigued by the colors.

Rashe flicked his gaze up and smiled softly. He tilted his head slightly, making the flames curve upwards, slightly mimicking a filagree design in the air before flickering as if breaking their front heir command

Marco smiled, watching them.

He waved a hand over the flames, extinguishing them and covericng the two in darkness once again
