Pierre chuckled, taking a leap of faith and kissing her temple before pulling away. “Dare accepted.”

She lifted her chin in acknowledgement, and shifted to watch him.

Pierre looked around for a rolling pin, locating one quickly and touching it down on the lump of dough.

She crossed her sunkissed arms, hip leaned against the counter.

It took a bit of trial and error, but after some experimentation he managed to roll out a fairly smooth sheet of dough. “This is too thick, isn’t it?”

"Here, let me.." She ushered him off, and took the rolling pin in her hands. Edonine pressed it down on the dough, shoulders rolling, flexing with practiced expertise and swiftness til the dough was almost as thin as a shilling.

He marveled at her skill, his eyes following the movements of her fingers.

She set the pin aside, "That's how you roll dough." Edonine winked at him.

Pierre’s heart fluttered weakly at the wink, but he managed a sheepish grin. “Sorry. Guess I’m not cut out for baking, hm?”

He leaned over to kiss her.

Pierre leaned into her touch like a cat against its master, smiling. “Mm.”

Edonine pressed her nose against his cheek, and kissed there several times.

He slipped an arm around her waist, drawing her gently to him. "I don't understand how you can have this effect on me.."

"What effect?" She asked him between butterfly kisses.

Pierre's heart fluttered in his chest, and he gently took hold of her hand and set it there so that she could feel its helpless pattering. "This effect."

He leaned over to kiss her.

Jane leaned forward as well to reunite their lips. She felt her fingers subconsciously work up his arm, to his neck and up into his hair.

Pierre's gesture made the women's eyes soften. "I make your heart speed up..?"

"Mm," he hummed in response, bowing his head to kiss each of her fingers. "A little more than that."

"At this rate, I'm going to starve," Johm softly commented.

That made her sun-darkened cheeks flush a deeper shade. Her voice dropped into a subtle, flattered whisper, "More?"

"More," he promised her, drawing her close to his chest. "Much, much more."

Edonine leaned in to kiss his lips heavier than she was, with a sharper passion.

"We can continue after dinner," John commented to her with a sly smile.
