Edonine laughed, and pulled her feet up on the bed to lay against him. "I love you too.."

He marveled at the ease in which she delivered those words, the words weighted with such meaning. How did she manage? They seemed to slip past her lips where they stumbled through his. “I’m glad…” He held her close.

"Queen," John echoed, feeling his face warm up at the term of endearment.

Jane's eyes sparkled. "I am far from a queen, my sir."

"You dare tell me I'm wrong?" André teased.

Edonine craned her head to face him, "Did you ever think you'd find love?"

"You dare tell me I'm wrong?" André teased.

Jane gaped for a moment before realizing his tone was one of humor. "Of course not, my sir," she replied, her smile quickly returning.

John bent down over her, pressed a kiss to her forehead.

Edonine craned her head to face him, "Did you ever think you'd find love?"

He was silent for a minute. “No. I did not.”

She grinned and pulled him down onto the bed so that he was lying beside her. She laughed.

André shifted over her, to keep kissing her.

Edonine reached above herself to trace his chin with a thumb.

He smiled a little, brushing a lock of hair behind her ear.

She closed her eyes, smiling softly, to nap in his arms.

A soft noise of surprise escaped his lips, but his arms quickly formed a cradle for her to sleep in as he leaned back against the wall.

Delta was whistling softly from his perch on the shelf.

Pierre tilted his head at the bird in question.

"Shhh.." Edonine spoke, and Delta shushed.

She pulled back, worried that she'd done something wrong. "Did I…?" she asked quietly.
