ROMANCE ANYONE?

"Smart pet," the man said. He stood over the bed, leaning closer to Dan.
"I'm sure he won't mind me trying you a little," he said, going for Dan's neck.

Dan covered his neck with the blanket, "please don't." He said softly and a tad scared. He still wasn't fully awake.

The man took Dan's chin in his hand, tilting his head up easily, even if Dan struggled.
"M, why not? Everyone else is feeding~" When this man used that tone, it was frightening. Malicious.

Dan just closed his eyes not wanting to answer, he knew that anything he would say wouldn't matter.

"Well?" The man pulled Dan forward forcefully. "Answer me."

"I-i… Um if you take too much I could pass out or die." Dan responded quietly and looked away. When he had been pulled the blanket fell away from his neck.

"Not my problem," the man said. He took the opportunity, launching forward and sinking his teeth painfully into Dan.

Dan let out a weak Yelp and put his hands against the guy wanting to push him away but he was slowly getting weaker and weaker.

Arien felt a standing pain in his mark from when he tied himself to Dan, and he ran back to the room. He saw the other vampire, pulling him away from Dan and punching him.
"Dan!" He said, going back over to him and holding him.

Dan had gone unconscious after a few seconds of the guy stealing blood from him. He was just limp, unconscious, and very pale.

Arien picked Dan up- the other vampire had disappeared.
"Oh, Dan," he said softly, making sure he was still alive.

Dan was still alive but his breathing was a bit weak.

Arien kissed Dan's forehead softly. He needed to get him to a hospital. He took off, out of the castle, to the closest one.

Dan was unconscious for the whole ride there. He just softly breathed.

Arien got Dan into a hospital room, and the doctors set up a blood transfusion for him. Arien sat next to him, worried out of his mind.

Dan also needed an IV due to it all. After several hours he finally woke up.

Arien looked up to see Dan awake.
"I'm so sorry," he said, putting his hand on Dan's. He was tired, but he refused to leave.

Dan looked over at him, "Arien?"

"Yeah, I'm right here," he said softly. He leaned forward, kissing Dan's cheek.

"I don't feel great." He mumbled looking over at him.

"I know," Arien said, brushing some hair out of Dan's face. "I'm so sorry."

"Not your fault." Dan shook his head.

"Yes it is, Dan. I left you, a human, alone and defenseless in a castle full of people whoeat humans." He said a little.

Dan nodded softly, "I couldn't get him to leave me."

Arien held Dan's cheek with his hand.
"I can tell. God I'm sorry. I'm so sorry. I'm a stupid vampire…"

"I'm alright… but I don't think I can let you have any of my blood today. I feel too weak and sick." He whispered.

"Is okay Dan," Arien said, kissing his cheek again.
"I can manage. I just want you to get better."

Dan nodded, "love you. I'm going back to sleep."

"Okay my prince. Sleep well." Arien sat back in his chair.

Dan nodded and fell back to sleep.
