ROMANCE ANYONE?

Dan held onto Arien, “why’s he after me?” He asked softly.

"I don't know, " Arien said softly. He kissed Dan's cheek.
"We're going to Elliot's, okay?" The place where Dan had to be a doll.

“Ok.” Dan nodded softly and hugged him as he was carried, he was tired from being just woken up.

They arrived at the house. Arien gave Dan a hug before stepping in. Now, Arien was holding Dan in his hands. He kissed Dan's head.
"You doing okay?"

“Yeah, just a bit tired still.” He nodded.

"Alright then." Arien lifted Dan up into his pocket.
"You can go back to sleep," he said softly.

“Alright.” Dan nodded and got into Ariens pocket. It didn’t take very long for him to fall asleep.

Arien spent most of the night with Elliot, discussing the mysterious vampire quietly. In the morning, Arien yawned, heading off to bed.

Dan woke up in the morning, “I assume I can’t go to work.” He said quietly.

"It's too dangerous," Arien confirmed.
"I'm sorry." He lifted Dan out of his pocket carefully.

“It’s fine, hopefully I’ll be able to go eventually.” Dan nodded.

"Hopefully…" Arien kissed Dan lightly.
"Did you sleep well?"

“Yeah, I slept fine. I assume you were about to sleep?”

Arien shrugged.
"I can stay up a bit more. I'm tired of barely having any time to talk to you."

“It’s fine if you want to sleep.”

"But I want be with you. It's hard to do with one of us almost always being asleep." Arien leaned back on the bed, holding Dan close.

Dan nodded, “yeah that’s true, what do you want to talk about?”

"I still want to learn more about you." Arien snuggled down, setting Dan in his lap.

“Yeah, I guess you don’t really know much about me…” dan thought.

"Is there anything in particular you want me to know?" Arien asked, listening intently.

“Hmmm well there’s not much about me, you know most of what’s important.”

"I see. Then tell me something that isn't important. I want to know everything you'll tell me."

Dan nodded and started telling him anything he could think of.

Arien listened intently, grinning.
"Thank you for sharing with me," he says with a grin when Dan finished. He kissed Dan gently.

Dan nodded smiling, “you’re welcome.”

Arien muffled a yawn, holding Dan close.
"How do you feel about this? Being stuck as a doll again."

“I hope it’s not for a long time. It’s ok for temporary times.” Dan replied.

Arien went quiet.
"It might be for a long time," he admitted. "The other vampire tracked you down to my house. This is the safest place right now. Even if he found this place, there are protection spells, and it would be hard for him to find you."

Dan nodded, “I understand.” He said softly.

"I'm sorry," Arien said. He kissed Dan's forehead lightly.
