ROMANCE ANYONE?

“It’s ok. I kinda blame myself because it is me that he’s after. I wish I knew why.”

"I wish I did too." Arien lifted Dan up close to his face.
"And please don't blame yourself. It's not your fault."

“But isn’t it my fault if he’s following me?”

"No, it's not," Arien said firmly. "He came after you, and it's obvious he wants you again."

“Then what if your lured him.” He mumbled.

"I'm not sure we'd be able to handle him. If he's willing to try to track you down…" Arien sighed a little, laying down while still holding Dan.

“Yeah…. I guess. But it was just a thought, if he tracked me and you got him we wouldn’t have to hide.”

"We might give it a try," Arien conceded. He held Dan close to his chest, visibly tired.

“You should sleep.” Dan told him.

"But I don't trust Elliot anywhere near you, and it'll be hard for you to go anywhere on your own…" Arien trailed off. He was tired, and Dan was really nice to hold like this.

“Arien, i could just stay here laying with you.” Dan offered him.

"You sure?" Arien asked, already half asleep. He pulled Dan a bit closer to himself, smiling softly.

“Yeah I’m sure, it’s fine.” He nodded.

Arien kissed the top of Dan's head, smiling a little. "Thank you…" Arien fell asleep.

Dan stayed in his arms as he slept through the day.

Arien woke up in the evening, snuggled close to Dan.
"Evening," he mumbled, processing that Dan was still a doll.

“Hey…” dan greeted him and smiled.

Arien kissed Dan lightly. His stomach grumbled a bit.

“Hungry?” He asked him.

Arien nodded.
"We'll have to head outside…"

“Yeah, I know.”

"I'm not sure it's safe," Arien admitted.

“Alright… then what will you do?”

"I don't know. I'm afraid to go hunting too, because it'll leave you alone with Elliot." Arien sighed, not sitting up yet and just holding Dan close.

“I’ll probably be safe enough, don’t worry Arien.” Dan told him trying to reassure him.

Arien pressed his lips together.
"Alright then. I love you." He kissed Dan's forehead, letting him go and sitting up.
"I'll be back soon, promise."

“I know you will, love you too.” Dan nodded and waved.

Arien waved back, then left. A couple of minutes passed, and Elliot came in the room.
"Hello~" he said, sitting down on the bed next to Dan. "I see he left you all alone."

“He went out to get something to eat and didn’t think it would be safe having me leave.” Dan told him and moved over a bit.

"Is that so…" Elliot thought a moment. He looked down at Dan, picking him up almost roughly.
"You're all alone then…"
