Rykah and Will(because I can't think of a better title)

Rykah wandered over to the bed and flopped, his wings relaxing, "So whatcha wanna do?"

“Sleep.” Will smiled wryly. “Sleep so much.”

Rykah laughed, "It is pretty late" he yawned.

“I’m going to go check on him one more time, then we’ll go to bed.” Will said, leaving the room. He walked down the hall and opened his brother’s door, and saw Anna and Jack much in the same position Will had been in earlier.

Rykah nodded, watching as he left, absentmindedly, running fingers through feathers as he pulled his shirt off.

He looked at Anna, hoping for an answer. She just looked at him sadly, and he left.

Rykah was dangling one of his wings over his head, trying to clean some gunk off of a feather when Will came back,

“I swear, if I could snap my fingers and fix everybody’s issues I would.” Will said, flopping on the bed.

"Hey, just don't give yourself issues" said Rykah, carefully slipping a wingful of soft feathers under Will's back.

“I’d gladly have the worst issues in the world for the rest of my life than have you guys feel like crap.” Will said quietly.

"I would rather have my issues than see you with any issues."

Will smiled sadly. “I wish I could make my brother better.”

"He probably just needs time…." said Rykah softly,

“Rykah…. listen…. he got…. er… kidnapped, a while back. Next month will be four years I believe. It was bad, he was gone for three months, at least. He never really said what happened, but we all know it was bad. That’s what happened today. Memories, you know. I’m not sure that it’s a time thing.”

“We’ve taken him to one. They said that it was likely PTSD. And unrecoverable.”

Rykah pulled the other boy closer with his wing, "He's gonna be ok Will… You have to believe that"

“God, I just want him to be better.” Will said, sighing.

"Well I need you to stop being so worried" said Rykah gently, "You're all tense…"

Will took a deep breath and relaxed a bit. “I’m going to sleep.” He said, curling into the other boy.

Rykah smiled, wanting to nestle in the other's hair, but knowing it would bug him.

Will was asleep within minutes, sleeping restlessly.

Rykah eventually dozed off, hugging Will tightly in his arms.

Will woke up still pressed against Rykah, and he yawned. He slipped up, and stretched a bit. Then he remembered the events of yesterday, and carefully opened the door and snuck out of his room and down the hall.
He opened the door to Jack’s room as quietly as possible, and slipped his head through. He sighed in relief when he saw his brother curled up in his bed, peaceful as ever, with Anna on the floor beside him.

Rykah felt Will leave, and whimpered imperceptably as he left.

Will, satisfied that Jack was ok, returned to his room and curled bCk up in bed.

Rykah curled around him, "I know why you do that, but for some reason I hate it" he whispered.

“I’m sorry, Ry.” Will apologized.

"Don't be" said Rykah softly, "I know why you do it, and that's why I love you"
