Rykah and Will(because I can't think of a better title)

“It’s such a pretty color!”

Rykah looked and saw a smaller crystal that was a mixture of indigo, magenta, and teal. "Yeah it is pretty" said Rykah, still trying to wring water out of his flight feathers.

Will sighed, his distraction hadn’t worked. “Can’t you just let them airdry?”

"They get heavy and start to hurt if I don't wring them out" said Rykah trying to reach the back of his left wing.

“Do you want help?”

"I got it…." said Rykah not really wanting to acknowledge the fact that trying to wring the water out of your wings all by yourself was very difficult.

"Do you?"

"Not really" said rykah giving up and starting on the right wing,

Will stood up and asked, "How do I do this?"

"Just squeeze the biggest feathers feathers and try not to pull them out" said Rykah, resigned to the fact that Will was probably gonna help weather he asked for it or not.

Will set to work, gently helping Rykah.

Rykah tensed a little as Will started at a more sensitive area, but tried to ignore it as he continued wringing out the flight feathers on his right wing.

"You ok?"

"Yeah.." said Rykah quietly trying to ignore the fact that his wigs were really sensitive all of a sudden.

(OMG I just reread that…..)

Facepalm

"I think I'm done."

"Thanks," Said Rykah his face burning for no reason cause no one has ever touched his wings before other than his mom…

"no problem." Will said, then asking "Are you ok? You look hot."

"Yeah I'm good" he said moving away and trying to make his ears not flatten, as he forced himself to go back to normal.
(I am not controlling this but you made my boi go all fluff….)

Will smiled a bit, kneeling down and studying the crystals again.

Rykah wandered off into the cavern a little further, his wings ruffling a little to try and get rid of the weird tingle where Will had touched them.

"Where're you going?"

"Nowhere" said Rykah, his face finally calming down,

"Ok…?" Will said, pretending to turn back to the crystal, but actually watching Rykah out of the corner of his eye.

Rykah leaned back against one of the crystals, pressing his hands against his face as he tried to sort out what had just happened.

"What's going on, Rykah?" Will asked, putting a hand on his friend's shoulder.

"Uhm….." he did not know what to say.. Whywhywhywhywhy

"Hey, you ok?"

"Yeah I'm good it's nothing" he said quickly, just wanting to hide as his ears involuntarily flattened and his wings floofed even more.
