Rykah and Will(because I can't think of a better title)

A few minutes later and they were walking along the river that flowed across the island. "It's not much farther!" said Rykah.

Will nodded, smiling.

A few moments later and they were standing on the edge of a sparkling pool, filled with clean water, and ringed with flower bushes and sandy banks.

“Whoa.”

"That's exactly what I said!" laughed Rykah

Will smiled. “So?”

"It's funny!" Laughed Rykah,

“No! So, what do we do now?” Will said, laughing.
(Also, do you like football? Because I’m trying to prove a point to my friends.)

(Sure! I like football about as much as any other sport, which is not very much…)
"Well we could go for a swim" said Rykah

(Are you currently watching/are aware of the Patriots v. Chiefs game?)
Will smiled, and said, “Yes!”

(I wasn't aware of it until you told me)
Rykha grinned and began pulling off his hoodie, pulling it off over his wings, ruffling the feathers as he kicked off a shoe.

(Well, I’m trying to break the news to my friends that there is no way in hell the Chiefs are going to win, but they love the chiefs too much to let the message sink in.)
Will followed suit, almost hitting Rykah with his shoe.

Rykah ducked the shoe with a grin as he laid the radio on his hoodie, well away from the bank before taking a running leap into the lagoon, and making a big splash.

Will followed, making sure to avoid hitting Rykah.

Rykah rolled over, floating on top of the water, his wings floating out on either side of him.

Will dove down as far as he could, sitting at the bottom.

Rykah looked around for a second after realizing Will had vanished. Then he dove to the bottom, tapping Will on the shoulder when he found him.

Will turned around and smiled, waving. Then he realized he’d probably been down there longer than he should’ve. He pointed to the surface, and pushed himself up.

Rykah nodded twisting and kicking himself up from the bottom.

Will took a breath that he didn’t really need.

Rykah broke the surface a few feet away from Will, his hair plastered to his face.

“Hey.” Will said, being able to breathe much better than normal people.

"You like water?" Asked Rykah.

“Yes! I pretty much spend my entire summer in the water.” Will said, adding, “I figured out how to make a long lasting water-breathing potion so that my sister could scuba dive without the gear. But it lasted much longer than I thought it would, and so now me, Anna, and Jack can just breathe in water now.”

"Wow" said rykah. "Is that why you were down at the bottom of the lagoon?

“Yep. I could’ve stayed down there for the rest of the day if I wanted to.”

Ryakh was about to answer when he heard the radio chatter strike up again. Having heard the chatter he immediately began swimming towards shore.

Will followed, reluctantly getting it of the water.

The radio chattered again."hey Rykah. Kid you there?"
Rykah picked up the radio. His wings dragging a little due to the fact that they were waterlogged.
"I'm here go ahead" he said grinning at Will
"Good I just wanted to give you a heads up that some of our best flyers have started over there in a team of four. I wont be with them but I know each of them personally and they're the best for the job. they should be there by tommorrow morning and they'll probably stay a few days before starting the return journey with you and your freind alright?"

"Sounds good to me!" Said Rykah cheerfully

"Good we look forward to getting you over here safe and sound!"

Will smiled, putting his arm around Rykah.
