"Hm, that sounds…sad. I don't know what some of those words mean, I mean, I was never taught to read or write, but I have an imagination, I think that's what the doctors call it? A made up world, all inside my head. All I have to do is think, and my thoughts run wild!" Melanie seems neutral, not too happy or sad.
Sanity (4/3, Stalkers are welcome if you want :3)
(To Fox)
"Are you.. okay?" Melanie's voice was concerned.
Met didn’t notice Fox’s crying as he just sat there. He didn’t have imagination anymore. The scientists said it had been crushed out of him, leaving him blank and empty. He liked to fall in it a lot, hearing the distant, loud echoes of it. Sometimes shadows came and greeted him outside of his realm, which was nice. They were always very kind to him.
"I wonder…do you think we could be friends? Real friends?"
Fox stops crying, their breath still shaky and hallow. Fox stops covering their face. He nods to both questions.
Jax climbs up onto the tallest thing he can find, always feeling safer when he was higher than his enemies. It gives you the advantage, Sissy said that. He remembered, his paranoid eyes still jumping from thing to thing even with the fond memory.
"We should find the other boy. Jax, I think… I don't want them to take him. He seems scared, but I want to help him…" Melanie gets up slowly and, without looking back, walks to the vent Jax went into. "You went into the tunnel? I'll make sure you don't get lost…" Melanie attempts to get into the vent (which she calls a tunnel because her Schizophrenia is acting up, fog-man could also appear if you want, Crisp. Crisp, you could also allow it so that maybe Melanie does see monsters, usually in cramped/dark areas).
The fog person appears again. "Don't injure yourself now." Pointing to the sharp parts on the vent cover.
"But…I'll be fine. I'm going to save the boy from the monsters in there," Melanie points to the vent. "I don't want him to die or get lost, heaven forbid he gets captured." Melanie struggles to get up into the vent, but she gets up, scraping her side a little.
"You did good, go find him. If you want." He points down the vent, then disappears.
Melanie crawls forward, having to squint to see in the vents. "Where did you go? It's dangerous to travel in dark places…There could be monsters, Jax. Why did you go in here? In the tunnel?" she whispered to herself.
When Melanie gets to the split of left and straight, the fog appears again, gesturing for her to go straight.
Melanie nods, and heads straight. Jax, why did you leave? Were you that scared?
Melanie eventually comes to the same place where Jax went down, the cover is already open.
Melanie gets out, bumping her bad shoulder, and winces a bit. "Jax? Are you okay? Did the monsters get you?" Melanie says before she sees him. "Hello!" she waves, her voice calm.
Met didn’t respond when Melanie left. He leaned against the wall and huffed into a gentle sigh, staring down into the corner with his eyes glazed over.
Fox gives Met a gentle hug, trying to cheer him up.
Met wanted to shake Fox off. He wanted to be left alone so he could fall into himself.
Fox lets go of Met, sitting next to him. They wonder what to do.
(Um, maybe describe the room I'm in? Attempt to follow me?)
(Um, maybe describe the room I'm in? Attempt to follow me?)
(The room is a nurse's office :P)
Melanie's head tilts to the side. "Are you okay?" she asked again, still on the ground. Melanie adjusts herself so that she's sitting on her knees.
Jax backed up more against the wall, effectively remaining out of Melanie's sight.
Melanie pouts. "I know you're here…My friend told me…Or did he lie? If you're here, can I stay here? The other two weren't concerned about you, Jax…I hope…" her voice trailed off, sounding desperate.
I knew I wouldn't be safe, I can't jump down and make a run for it because of my leg… What do I do? What do I do? He thought frantically, trying to remain still.
"Will you come out? I know you're scared, and… I am, too, in a way. I was scared that the monsters got you, so I came in here through the tunnel. It was dark and scary, but my friend helped me to find you. I'm sorry about earlier, and if you want to run away, you can," Melanie scoots about five feet from the vent, "but try not to hurt me again. My shoulder still hurts…I don't want to be hurt again, but I understand if you do…"
"Why?" Jax whispered, slamming his hand against his mouth in disbelief that he did that.
(Did Jax introduce himself…)
(Yeah, in his room when Melanie took the vent, seeing him throw up… Melanie asked questions, and all she knows is his name and that he thinks that she'll hurt him)
Ah, I didn't remeber, I guess becuase I made him out of character.///
