Saving Kingdoms, Closed

"Sounds like my brother" said a red haired woman,

“The idiot part of the gutsy part?” Reed asked.

"All of it, except letting a sibling take the blame" said the woman.
"Allow me to introduce my elder twin, Blazara" said Alex courteously.

“Right.” Reed said, smiling.

"Now what in the world are you boys up to?" she asked.

Jack turned to Reed, since he seemed to be the friendly one at the moment. Reed looked at Alex for help, seemingly having forgotten how to use words.

Alex shrugged, "Comparing stories" he said honestly,
Blaze raised an eyebrow, but took the hint and left.

“You good, Reed?” Jack asked.
Reed nodded. “Couldn’t seem to speak for a second. That happens sometimes, it’s fine.”

Alex turned as a black furred wolf gave a short howl, calling order to the clearing.
"I wonder what's up…"

“Oh, good, more crazy.” Jack said, before yelping after receiving a sharp blow to the ribs from Reed.

Sirus, (the black wolf) shifted and took a breath, "Alright, so I'm sure all of you know we can't afford to take any more bad hits like that. Especially since Arthur, is out for the count. Along with him, are Storm, Rashi, Tsaru, Avalanche, Matt and Chris, and Skye. Hopefully Skye will be back on his feet sooner rather than later. On a positive note we have Firiko back, who knows for how long though." he paused, "But, on a more serious note; Some of our scouts, Tornado and I,-"
"They have Tornando out there?!" Alex whispered in shock.
"- Have found evidence of strange troops from the east, mingling with that of Verick's forces." He finished, "We don't know who these forces are, but we did find this in the wreckage of their camp." (Seeing as they had left in a hurry…) Sirus held up a simple sword, sheathed in a scabbard, marked with a specific crest.
"Anyone who knows this crest needs to speak up!" said Sirus, "this way we can identify the threat"

"Oh Sirus, Always the serious one…." said Alex with a sigh, his attitude was carefree, but you could see the worry in his eyes.

“Oh, my god.” Reed said, while Jack immediately put his hand up to his upper arm. Reed quickly did the same, and they both hoped to play it off casually, but it was quite obvious that something was up.

(Unfortunate for them….)
"Is something wrong you two?" Asked Alex, concerned when he saw them tense up.

Jack was happy to just lie and keep a straight face, but Reed wasn’t a good liar, especially under pressure.
He pulled up his shirt sleeve a bit, revealing a brand in the shape of the crest on his arm.
Jack, figuring he probably shouldn’t ditch Reed like this, rolled his shirt sleeve up too, showing an identical brand.

"I'm guessing you two have a really really good explanation for that?" Asked Alex, tensing slightly.

Jack ran a hand over his face tiredly. Reed just looked sort of dejected.
“The guy that uses that mark? His name is Alastair. He brands it on all of his…. on all of his followers. It’s a sort of initiation thing. But I swear, we were forced into it.”

Alex's gaze softened, "I believe you, but we're gonna have to tell the others about this.." he got to his feet, waving a gold flare, several people getting up and coming over, including Firiko and his siblings.

Reed closed his eyes, while Jack just hardened his face into a stone cold glare.

"Calmate" said Alex, "We aren't gonna hurt you or kick you out, I promise." he waited as the other's got closer, "We just need to know if this Alastair guy and his men have any weaknesses."

Reed took a deep breath, hoping to calm his anxiety, but Jack kept his mask on, having already retreated too far.
“He has an Achilles heel.”

"Wait till we can gather everyone important" said Alex, watching as the others filed up, "Hollow, now." he said, calmly,

Reed looked distraught, and Jack put a hand on his shoulder.

"Come on" said Alex leading them a short way back into a thicket, the thicket had a variety of people. Silver, Firiko and his siblings, Blaze, Sirus, Damian, Frost, and Rio. (The man with the tatts)
Alex sighed, "First off, Why the heck do you have Tornado on patrol?!" he demanded.

“Who’s Tornado?” Reed whispered to Jack, who shrugged.

"She was the only other flyer we had," said Sirus, "We needed her, and she never went alone."
"She's Storm's daughter, and she's barely any older than Felix!!" Said Alex "Storm would've killed us!"

“Oh….” Reed said, frowning.

"Calma Alex," said Blaze, "Being more literal, why did you call a meeting?" she asked,
Alex sighed, "It seems our new allies," he gestured to Reed and Jack, "Happen to be very familiar with that crest" he stepped back to allow them into the clearing.
"Don't tell me that's Alastair's Crest" groaned Firiko.
