Romero suddenly pulled away, "Please dont forget you have other duties big brother" she said softly before opening a portal and leaving.
Skye sighed watching her go. *i hate to think that I have to leave rhem..
“That was…. interesting.” Reed said cautiously.
"The very definition of anyone in this valley" said Skye sarcastically, "Anyway we need to keep heading that way before we head back," he gestured off along the cliff edge, before walking off in that direction.
Reed followed quickly watching the edge carefully.
"So how are you liking the valley so far?" asked Skye,
“It’s cool. Much better than anywhere I’ve been before.”
"glad to hear it"
“Don’t be too flattered, the places I’ve been before have all sucked.”
Skye raised an eyebrow, but didn't question.
“So… she seemed interesting.”
Is interesting the only adjective I know? he thought to himself.
"That's the definition of just about any Nebulae" said Skye.
Reed laughed lightly. “I suppose that’s probably fair.”
"Trust me you haven't tried to lead them…"
“Sounds hard.”
"As much as I complain about it isn't actually that bad…" said Skye with a shrug. "If it weren't for the fact that everyone brings every little thing to you first…."
“That sounds…. annoying.”
"Trust me it is…. and technically it's not my job to take care of it, it's actually Romero's"
“Then why don’t they go to her?”
"Because they're a bunch of idiots" said Skye flatly.
Reed laughed. “Well then.”
"I mean it!" said Skye with a grin, "I know I shouldn't say it, but honestly the things I people try to get me to do for them"
“Like what?”
"Like babysitting" said Skye, trying to keep a straight face.
“Babysitting? That’s not so bad….”
"Not when you're piled up in paperwork from the library and it's five pups who hate each other…."
(Or five annoying siblings who all skipped a much needed nap and you're drowning in schoolwork… XD)
“Oof. I take it back, that sounds bad.”
(Another reason I’m glad I don’t have any little siblings.(although I guess my brothers are both a few minutes younger than me, but we’re the same age in years))
"Yeah.." said Skye, "Unfortunately I wasn't able to get out of it either…"
“I’m sure that was fun.”
"Yeah.. perfectly enjoyable 48 hours" said Skye sarcastically.
“Sounds like it.” Reed said sarcastically. “the only babysitting I’ve ever done is making sure my brother and Anna didn’t do something stupid.”
