Ollie quickly got to work, writing down what people wanted and taking the notes to the kitchen staff. His organized mind worked perfectly for this, but his temper sometimes got in the way. Once the rush started to end, he couldn't wait to go… home. Wherever that was. He sighed. Probably a tree or a park bench again.
“ so, Ollie, coming back with me?” Cyrus asked when they were on break. “ I really enjoyed last night..” he said
Ollie blushed hard as he tried to hide his face, and his smile. "Oh, uh, well…."
His expression went solemn as he bit his lip nervously. "To be honest… I don't really have anywhere else to go."
"really? why didnt you say so? i would have taken you home sooner," he joked
Oliver chuckled nervously, rubbing his arm while he shook his head. "It's really okay. I don't want to intrude or anything"
" no, I'm serious, your perfectly fine to stay with me. I know what that's like and it sucks " he said and gave a warm smile
Ollie grinned understandingly, then suddenly leaned in to give Cyrus a hug. "Thank you. What can I ever do to repay you?" He laughed, sniffing a bit
" just be nice enough to consider being my boyfriend? " He asked with a chuckle " it's not everyday I find someone who perfectly understands me.."
Ollie turned red, pulling back slightly and looking deeply into the other's eyes. "r-really?"
cyrus grew a bit red, scratching the back of his neck " are my feathers blue?" he asked rhetorically
Ollie's smile widened, then he practically pounced onto Cyrus for another hug. "Oh, thank you thank you thank you!!"
Cyrus laughed and pulled Ollie up closer to his chest. " Your welcome.. my little kinkajou"
Ollie chuckled, leaning into Ollie as he closed his eyes. "Mm… my blue jay… I like the sound of that"
Cyrus chuckled, " only bout an hour before our shift ends, wanna get take out?"
Olli perked up, mouth already watering at the thought of a decent meal. "Hell yeah!"
Cyrus chuckled, as their shift ended he called for pizza and took Ollie home
Ollie held onto Cyrus's arm, graciously following him home while a smile grew across his face.
Cyrus kept planting small kisses on ollie's head and cheek, holding the pizza in his other hand
Ollie's breath hitched, moving closer to Cyrus as his arm found a way around the other's waist, and soon enough they were at Cyrus's home
Cyrus set a plate down for Ollie and himself, sitting on the table
Ollie dug in hungrily, finishing a few slices of pizza inhumanly fast. He was starving, and it showed
Cyrus pitied him, letting him have as much as the pizza that he wanted.
Oliver finished his share, then looked up at Cyrus and blushed. "Oh… sorry. I… You can have more if you want."
“ no no it’s alright,” he said and smiled “ wanna cuddle when your done?”
Ollie chuckled, picking up another slice and sheepishly finishing it quickly. "I would love nothing more"
Cyrus nodded, standing and taking the plates to the kitchen, he then picked Ollie up and carried him to his bedroom
Ollie smiled, snuggling into Cyrus's strong arms as he wrapped his arms around his neck.
Cyrus set the other down and cuddled into him
Ollie shifted, flicking his tail from side to side while he nuzzled the other deeply
Cyrus reached up and rubbed Ollie’s ears “ so soft..”
