Sol turned to glance at the clock. “Just after eight, do you want to go to bed?” he replied, rocking slowly with Joey in his arms.

Sol chuckled quietly. “That’s okay, sweetheart, you need to catch up on sleep,” he murmured, still swaying slowly. “Want me to take you to the guest room?”

Sol gave him a soft smile, then made his way to the guest bedroom, where he gently set Joey down on his feet. “Do you need anything before bed, estello?” he asked
Joey shook his head and sat down on the bed, looking up at Sol. "No, I'm alright. Thanks, though. I'll see you in the morning!" He smiled brightly.
“See you in the morning,” Sol answered with a smile, leaning down to press a kiss to Joey’s forehead before leaving, closing the door behind him. Not long after, he was in his own room, grabbing a book off his shelf and settling in bed. He’s safe he’s safe he’s safe
Joey curled up on the bed and yawned again, soon drifting off to sleep. He huddled up in the blankets and trilled contentedly, seeming to be pretty comfortable for the moment.
