“It’s okay to be afraid. I’m afraid of things I can’t escape from. Like my past and all that Jazz. You can do that to get over your goals, but if you do it because you feel like you have to then it won’t make a difference,” River playing with Cas’s hair.

@Fraust

Cas leaned into his hand, relaxing a bit, but still seeming pretty tense. "I guess so…"

"I know so. Now one more time. Cas, what would you like to do today?" River smiled with a kiss on the forehead.

@Fraust

"Uh… we… we could go fishing? Is that a thing we can do?" He asked, closing his eyes briefly when River kissed him.

"It is. If you want to let's go fishing!" River smiled.

@Fraust

"Sounds good, love." Cas took his hand and walked out the door.

River led Cas to a dock by the side of the lake. "This is where you fish. Do you know how to fish?"

@Fraust

"How hard can it be?" Cas picked up a fishing pole and tried to cast it out, but ended up just flicking it pointlessly.

River started to laugh, “It’s locked hun. So, lock it first, then you put bate on the end, and put the pole behind you and flick it forward.”

@Fraust

Cas blushed a bit and held his fishing pole out to River. "W-Well, I don't know how to put bait on."

“You take a worm from the bucket and the place it onto the hook and there you go,” River chuckled handing the pull back to Cas.

@Fraust

Cas huffed and fumbled with the pole until he figured out how to unlock it, eventually managing to actually cast it.

River clapped. “You did it!” He slightly laughed. As he unlocked it, put bait on, and cast it. He hummed softly closing his eyes.

@Fraust

Cas sat down on the grass, expecting this to take a while. "So, what do you wanna talk about while we wait for fish?"

“This is the ultimate question. Have you eaten fast food?” River stared at Cas.

@Fraust

"Um…" Cas thought for a moment. "No. I don't think so."

River sighed and hung his head in shame. “How could you not eat fast food? Fast food is the essence of America. I’m going to make eat so many things when we get back.”

@Fraust

"Well, I can't make fast food at home, so I've never had it." Cas shrugged, looking out upon the water. "I had very little money."

(Kinda mad right now because I cannot find a way for this upload to work for my project that’s due Monday and it turns out a ship that really like doesn’t exist yet)
“I’m going to have to make you try a hundred different types of food,” River shook his head with a chuckled.

@Fraust

(Ooft)
Cas shrugged, glancing at River for a moment. "Whatever you say, love." He jumped when something started tugging on his line."What do I do?!"

(Yeah….I need help)
“Well, first calm down and turning the handle really fast until the fish comes out the water. Then grab it by the wire and hold it tight,” River pointed to the pole.

@Fraust

Cas tried his best to obey, but he still seemed nervous. He kept reeling in the fish until he'd dragged it onto the shore. "N-Now what?"

“Now you just put it in the bucket,” River jerked his head to the bucket.

@Fraust

Cas reached for the fish, jumping again when it flailed helplessly. "Could… could you help?"

"Yeah," River walked over to the fish and easily grabbed it, putting it in the bucket.

@Fraust

Cas flicked his hands to try and get the water and scales off, seeming a bit disheveled. "That was… uh, something."

“Yup, wanna continue?” River laughed.

@Fraust

He nodded and cast his line out again. "Got any more questions about my childhood?"

“Have you ever watched a marvel movie?” River asked, bitting his lip.

@Fraust

"Nope. I don't remember watching any movies, actually. If we had a tv at my house, I never saw it."
