"Thanks! I have short pieces here and there but I've never actually finished any of them." She took another chocolate bar out of her pocket and offered it to Jay. She swears those thing are bottomless.

@Elder-God-Jacks347

He took the chocolate with a grateful smile, slowly biting into it. "Still, it's probably better than anything I've done when it comes to writing."

"Not really. Most of the things I wrote were in elementary school." She ran her fingers through her hair in a halfhearted attempt to brush it. "So, wanna play truth or dare?"

@Elder-God-Jacks347

"I'm not so sure I trust you with the ability to tell me what to do but whatever. Let's do it."

"Ok, truth or dare?"

@Elder-God-Jacks347

"Truth. I'm starting off safe."

group
@Toaster group

"Oh, but you aren't safe! What's the longest you've gone without showering?"

@Elder-God-Jacks347

"Like a week and a half? Foster home was in a really shoddy neighborhood and the water lines got cut. We got some to drink and cook with but it took a while to get the water fully back."

"That must've been rough."
(I have no idea what else to say.)

@Elder-God-Jacks347

"Yeah, it was. But that was a few years ago. Now I'm with Mama Jill and things are a lot better."

@Toaster group

"Well, that's good! Now you ask me."

@Elder-God-Jacks347

"Well, truth or dare?"

group
@Toaster group

"Truth!" Jay'd better be prepared. Angel almost never picks dare if she has a choice.

@Elder-God-Jacks347

"Hmm…Have you always lived here?"

group
@Toaster group

"Nope. Moved here a month ago. Crazy stuff was happening back home." She pushed those thoughts out of her head as soon as they came. "But that's over now! Truth or dare?"

@Elder-God-Jacks347

"I still don't trust your intentions so truth."

@Toaster group

"Ok, have you ever been skydiving?"

@Elder-God-Jacks347

"Nah, can't say I have. What, have you?"

group
@Toaster group

"Nope, not yet, but I plan to in a couple years." Soon as my wings grow in.

@Elder-God-Jacks347

"Well, have fun, don't die." He chuckled.

@Toaster group

"For your information, I'll be great at it! Probably…Next!"

@Elder-God-Jacks347

"Well then, truth or dare."

group
@Toaster group

"Hmmmm…dare." Let's hope I don't die.

@Elder-God-Jacks347

"I dare you to climb that tree." He pointed to one of the trees behind them.

"Alright." Angel got up and walked over to the tree he was pointing at. At least it was a small one. Even so, she had trouble getting up. After a few minutes of struggling, she finally made it…onto the lowest branch. "Tada!"

@Elder-God-Jacks347

He clapped with an amused smile. "Good job."

She smiled proudly and leaned against the trunk. "Truth or dare?"

@Elder-God-Jacks347

"Hmm…dare? I guess? Don't want you to be alone."

"I dare you to climb up here with me!" she replied without hesitation. True, she was afraid of falling, but she wouldn't tell him that was the reason she said that.

@Elder-God-Jacks347

"Alright, fine then!" He got up and walked over to the tree, easily jumping and pulling himself up onto the branch. "Done and done. I've been climbing trees since I was 8."
