Eden noticed the look on Jack’s face. “It’s fine. I promise. I’m not mad.”

'Still…Sorry.'

“It’s fine. You don’t have to apologize.” She took the last bite of her food, followed by a sip or her drink.

'If you say so…'

“I do. I do say so.” The waiter came buy with the check, setting it down on the table.

'I'll pay.'

“Okay.” She let him. She took the last few sips of her drink while she waited.

He takes out his wallet and pulls out his card. 'Should I leave a tip?'

“Probably. I think it’d be rude not to.” She reasoned. “I can leave the tip. I mean, you’re already paying for the rest of it.”

'You sure. You don't have too."

“I know. I want to.” She pulled out her cash, pulling aside a few bills and setting them on the table. “Boom! There. Done. Beat you to it, so now you can’t.”

"…" he laughs loudly

Eden giggled. She felt better.

He smiles brightly.

She smiled at him, a little disappointed that the night was coming to an end.

'Wanna spend the night at my house since it's late?'

She smiled, “Yeah. Sure, yeah. I’d love to.”

He smiles back. 'YAY!'

She giggled, “Yay!”

When they finished paying he held a hand out to her.

She took it, standing up to leave with him. With him!

He smiled and thanked the waiter.

She walked out with him, holding his hand as they walked to his car.

He opened the door for her. He wanted to do something but stoped himself

He does it anyways and leans in kissing her softly.

Eden let’s it happen. It’s so perfect. She closes her eyes, her hand hovering for a moment before moving to the nape of his neck. It slides into his hair. Her other hand slowly finds his waist and pulls him in closer.

He smiles and puts both hands around her waist. He smiled into the kiss.
