“Okay. Do you mind if I eat something?” She asked, pointing her thumb towards his kitchen.

'"I-I don't care…"

“Okay.” She got up, still in her clothes from the night before, to look through his food. She found a banana, some bread, and peanut butter, so she made herself banana peanut butter toast.

He sits up and rubs his messy hair.

She sat down and watched him. He was so cute sleepy.

He stretches. 'W-Why you l-looking at me…"

“‘Cause you’re cute,” holding out the ‘u’ in ‘cute’, in a sort of sing-songy tone.

"N-No I'm not…"

“You sit on a throne of lies.” She countered.

"Metaphorically yes…"

“Stop lying to yourself. You have a nice face and an even better personality.”

"That's…Your opinion…"

“Pff, that’s fact.” She insisted.

"Nope,"

“Yeeees.”

"Nuuuu."

“Yeeeeees.”

"No."

“Okay, well, you’re wrong but I’m not gonna argue this anymore.” She returned to her toast, taking another bite.

He sneezes.

“Bless thee.” She responded

"…Thanks."

“You’re welcome.” She finished her food, walking back over to the couches sit with him.

"My hair is a mess isn't it…"

“Maybe. But I think it’s cute. Plus, you just woke up. I don’t expect Orince Charming hair first thing in the morning.”

He laughs. "True…"

“I like your hair.”

"Thanks." His stomach growled.

Eden shrugged. “It’s just the truth.” She paused for a moment, before turning to him, “Will you promise me to always tell me the truth?” She asked. A sense of familiarity rose in the back of her mind, like she’d asked this before, but it warranted saying again if she did.
