Spencer James stepped off the plane and waited for his "wife" to get off, holding his hand out to her.
"Come on, darling, we have a tight schedule, what with that meeting and all," he said, smiling at her softly.

“I’m hurrying as fast as I can, James!” Victoria said with a smile, taking his hand.

"Well, then the meeting will have to wait for you," James teased.
“Well, I appreciate its courtesy,” Victoria laughed.

"It is a very courteous meeting, isn't it? Very kind of it to wait for you," Janes said with a nod.

“Indeed,” Victoria agreed, walking faster. “But it won’t wait forever.”

"It will not, that's true," James agreed as he matched his pace to hers.

James stepped out of the cab and held the door for Victoria. "My lady."

Victoria stepped out of the car, ducking her head to avoid hitting it on the (what’s the word. Roof? Doorframe? Idk.) “Thank you, my darling.”

"I'll grab our things from the trunk if you want to go check us in," James said as he shut the door and moved to the back of the car.

“Works for me,” Victoria said happily, walking into the hotel and getting in line at the front desk.

James grabbed the suitcases from the trunk before heading inside. He walked over to Victoria and kissed her cheek. "All set?"
“Indeed. Just finished checking in,” Victoria smiled, taking James’s hand. “Room 583.”

"Shall we go, then?" James asked, kissing her lightly. "Put our stuff in our room?"
“Indeed we shall,” Victoria said happily.

James grinned at her and started to lead her to the elevator.
"I think I'm going to enjoy this assignment," Spencer said under his breath so that only Anya could hear.
“I think I am, too,” Anya said, her voice hushed as well.

They stepped into the elevator and were soon on their way up. After a short while, they arrived at their floor, and James led Victoria to their room. He opened the door and gestured for her to go in first.
"After you, my dear."
“Oh, thank you, darling,” Victoria said with a smile, walking into their hotel room. “This place is just perfect.”

James walked in and shut the door behind him, making sure to lock it. He set his and "Victoria's" suitcases on the floor with a sigh and rubbed at his face.

“Indeed,” Anya muttered, taking her hair out of its bun and flopping onto the bed with a sigh. “Being happy is so much work.”
