“I’m not going to let her” he growled slightly.
Kyle pushed his glasses up his nose a little, “She’s stronger then you, though.”
“You really think I’d let that stop me?” He smiled slightly
A smile tugged at his lips, “No, I don’t think it would.”
“As long as I can, I won’t let anyone lay a hand on you. Promise.” He laughed “after all I’m an angry gay guy with a gun and good aim, so no one stands a chance of getting past me”
He giggled quietly and nodded, “You make a fair point.”
“I know right!” He chuckled
He sighed softly, still smiling a little, “Thank-you, for everything. And sorry for coming by so late…”
“You don’t need to apologize, I’m just glad you’re safe…”
Kyle nodded, moving so he was sitting in the others lap, “Yeah, safe now that I’m with you again.”
Caleb smiled, ruffling Kyle’s hair. “I missed you”
Kyle smiled back, “I missed you more.”
“Nooo I missed you more”
Kyle ran a hand through Arthur’s hair, “Nope. No way.”
Caleb raised an eyebrow “bet?”
“I wouldn’t go that far.” Kyle muttered.
“Mhm, sooooo I win” he grinned
Kyle sighed, resting his head on Caleb’s shoulder, “Yeah… you win.”
“Good” he smiled softly, lightly taking Kyle’s hand.
Kyle interlaced their fingers, giving Caleb’s hand a small squeeze.
His smile widened.
Kyle twisted slightly to the side as he could play with Caleb's fingers, becoming very interested in the task.
He chuckled quietly “whatcha doing there babe?”
Kyle shrugged a shoulder, resting his head on the others chest, "I dunno… but it's fun…"
“Well whatever makes you happy I guess” he kissed his forehead
Kyle smiled softly and nodded a little. It wasn't too long after that, that he fell asleep peacefully for the first time since the incident.
Caleb couldn’t help but smile. He brushed some hair out of Kyle’s face.
Kyle nuzzled into Caleb, his glasses slipping down his nose slightly.
Caleb gently took them off his face.
