“What happened to you was not alright and you should have never been put through that.” she told him, even though she had no doubt that he knew that.

He closed his eyes for a moment. "Yeah." He said again.

She sighed softly. “You know if you need any help with this… You can ask me for just about anything. As long as it's legal.” she added as a little joke, though she was serious about helping him.

He laughed faintly. "I know, Jade." he replied in a quiet voice.

She smiled a little at his laugh. “I… I really care about you, Killian, and don't want you to feel like you have to do anything alone.” she admitted just as softly.

@ElderGod-Icefire

He smiled just a little. "Thanks." He said.

“Anytime.” she smiled softly back.

He leaned his head back on the couch, holding his phone against his ear still. "I…" he trailed off, unsure what to say.

“Yeah?”

@ElderGod-Icefire

He shook his head. "I don't know. It's just…I odn't know."

She hummed a little, nodding. “It’s ok.” she said gently.

@ElderGod-Icefire

He closed his eyes.

She sighed softly, but still enough to be heard through the phone, and laid down on her bed.

@ElderGod-Icefire

"Sorry." He said again.

“For what?” she asked softly. “You haven't done anything wrong.”

@ElderGod-Icefire

He raked a hand through his hair. "I just…shouldn't be burdening you with all this, I guess."

“It’s fine. You… You needed to talk about it and I, honestly, wanted to know. I want to help you and if that means just listening, then you can talk all you want.” she assured him.

He bit his lip for a moment. "Right. I should…probably get a therapist." he let out a breathy laugh. "But, uh, that's kind of impossible. I wouldn't be able to talk about…much."

She chuckled a little and nodded. “Yeah… Honestly, I think all powered beings, heroes and villains, need a good trustworthy therapist.” she agreed. “But until that happens, I guess you'll just have to settle for me.”

@ElderGod-Icefire

He hummed for a faint moment. "Yeah, I guess."

“Sorry, I'm not professionally trained but I can read up on psychology.” she offered. “My intelligence is just naturally more inclined towards technology.”

@ElderGod-Icefire

He laughed. "No, it's fine. You don't need to do that for me, Jade. Really."

“I know I don't have to but I'm willing to if it would help.” she smiled softly

@ElderGod-Icefire

He smiled a little. "Well, thanks." He replied in a quiet voice.

“You’re welcome.” she said, matching his tone.

@ElderGod-Icefire

He ran his hands through his hair, biting his lip for a moment.

She sighed softly again, just letting him know she was still here for him.

@ElderGod-Icefire

"Sorry. I'm, uh, not very good at conversation right now, I guess."

“It’s ok.” she chuckled softly. “I didn't really have anything else to say at the moment either.”

@ElderGod-Icefire

He laughed a little.
