The Innocent and the Bad Boy (CLOSED)

"I'm not hungry," she whispered, not meeting his gaze.

“Paige. You did tho slash to,e and I’m worried,” Colton said, clenching his fists before relaxing them, “Please. I don’t want you hurting yourself.”

(Wait… what?)

"Don't worry about me," she mumbled.

“No. I am worrying about you and I will worry about you,” Colton took her hands and squeezed them, “Please” He begged desperately.

Slowly, Paige looked into his eyes. "Okay," she finally whispered, reluctantly getting her lunch together.

Colton let out a sigh of relief, “Thank-you.” He whispered.

She looked down at the meager contents in her arms, then up at him. "Where are we going?"

“You’ll have to wait and see.” Colton gave her a small smile before grabbing his and her bag.

Paige's eyes widened, but she smiled readily. "Okay."

“Come on.” Colton led them out of the cafeteria and towards the oval, only turning towards some trees in the back. He pushed them out of the way so Paige could get through and it opened up into a small grotto like place. Flowers and mushrooms popping up over the grass.

"Wow…" Paige marveled. "This is amazing! It's so beautiful."

Colton hummed his agreement, “Yeah. Feel free to come back whenever you want.”

"Is this your secret spot?" she asked, her eyes sparkling.

Colton flushed, “Y-Yeah… it is…”

"I love it!" Paige said. She wrapped her arms around him in a hug. "Thank you for showing it to me."

Colton chuckled and wrapped his arms around her too, “It’s no problem. Feel free to come back whenever.”

She nodded against his chest. "Oh, I will. Its too lovely, I don't think that I ever want to leave."

“Well you’re gonna have too,” Colton said with a small smile, “We have class soon.”

Paige bit her lip. "Right…"

Colton frowned a little, “Paige, you can’t keep skipping. You need to go.”

"You skip," she muttered quietly. "Other people skip. Why can't I?"

Colton sighed, “Skipping isn’t good. And neither is skipping meals.”

Paige shifted uncomfortably and didn't look him in the eye.

“Paige…” Colton’s voice was barely more then a whisper, “Please talk to me… I’m here for you.”

"I'm insecure!" she blurted. "About the way I look. The way people see me."

“Hey, look at me,” He said gently.
