"What will Bryson think?" she asked quietly.

“Hey, you’re not going to get hurt. And if you don’t like it and are afraid of what Bryson will think, I’ll bring my car tomorrow, okay?” Colton said gently.
She looked up at him and nodded. "Okay, thank you," she replied. There was a sense of relief about the way that she said it.
“I haven’t driven Baby for ages,” Colton said, climbing in the car, “Probably needs a fresh coat of paint in all honesty.l
"Is that your car's name?" she asked, tucking her hair behind her ear.
“Yup, because she is my baby. My child on other words.” Colton sighed contently.
Paige smiled. "I'd love to see her."
“Well you will tomorrow, now, where’s your house?” He asked, revving the engine.
She gave him her address (because I'm too lazy to think of one) and got on behind him, wrapping her arms around his midsection.
“Right, let’s go then.” He smiled over his shoulder before he took off, but made sure to go just below the sped limit.
She held on tight to him, still getting used to riding on a motorcycle.
Colton slowed down a little when he noticed how tight she was holding on, taking the corners carefully.
"Thank you," she said above the wind. Her grip relaxed slightly.
“Anything for you.” Colton replied, a hint of a blush rising to his cheeks.
She smiled shyly and rested her head on his shoulder.
To his disappointment, it didn’t take long after that for them to arrive back at her place, “Here you are. Safe and sound.”
"Thank you," she said, taming her wind-blown hair.
“You’re welcome. Do you want me to pick you up in Baby tomorrow morning?” Colton asked.
"Yes. Please," she added softly.
Colton nodded, “Alright, I’ll see you then.”
"Bye," she said, wiggling her fingers in a shy wave.
Colton saluted back with a goofy grin before he sped off. He pulled a wheelie just to show off as he did so.
Paige giggled and went inside.
The next morning, Colton was up early cleaning his car on a side street where he kept it. Once it was nice and shiny, it was time to pick Paige up.
Paige waited in the living room patiently.
Bryson walked in and observed her. "What are you doing?"
"Colton is picking me up for school today," she replied firmly.
Colton drove up to the driveway and honked. Hopefully Paige heard him.
Paige quickly jumped up. "Bye, Bryson!" she said and hurried outside to get a look at Colton's car.
The car was an old 1967 Chevy Impala an din quite good shape. A fresh coat of paint and it was nice and clean. Colton was beaming, “Morning beautiful!”
Paige smiled happily and got in, a slight blush coating her cheeks. "She's beautiful!" she murmured, running her hand over the interior.
“So are you,” Colton replied, kissing her cheek softly, “Ready to go?”
