"Of course! I know so!" The real surprise, what I think about you. If only I could tell you that.

She beamed and tilted her head back again. The wind rushed through her hair and she closed her eyes.

Beautiful… He knew he should be watching the road although he couldn't help but to glance back at her every so often. I hope this goes well. This is my chance.

Robin hummed softly, finally opening her eyes after a little while.

They reached the airport. "We're here!", he announced. He searched for their reserved spot.

She lowered her chin so she was looking forward again and surveying the lot as well.

"Here!", he exclaimed to himself. He parked the car, got out, and came around the other side to open the door for her. "M'lady!"

Robin blushed. "Can I help you with anything Isaac?" she asked.

(Wait, what about dinner? I'm confused, sorry…)

(At the airport. Sorry, I should have explained.)
"No I'm fine. The question is, can I help you with anything?" He got into the trunk and pulled out their suitcases.

(It's cool!)

"No, I'm fine," she replied, gathering her own luggage in her grip.

"We will get in, check our bags, go through security, eat, board. Sound like a plan?"

"Yes, sir– I mean, Issac," she corrected quickly.

He walked fast and checked every so often to be sure she was behind him. Being who he was, walking fast was something he caught on. It saves time and makes you look professional. Walk fast, talk slow…

Robin matched his pace well. She didn't stray too far behind him at any time.

The doors opened automatically, revealing a nice looking airport. It smelled nice too. They walked to the counter to get their tickets and bags checked. "Hello!", he said to the lady at the counter. "Hello!", she said back.

Robin smiled politely. "Don't say anything unless you need to, Robin. There's no reason you need to make yourself look bad if you didn't have to," her mother reminded her.

"Two tickets to Savana Airport. Two bags."
"Put them on the scale, please."
He put his on the scale. Perfect. He took it off and looked over at Robin.

Robin put hers on as well. It was good.

(Forgive me, I've never been to an airport…)

The lady put a sticker on both their bags on put them on the conveyor belt. "Thank you for flying with us!", she said. He waved goodbye and smirked a little. He expected to hear that multiple times today.

Robin followed his lead. She'd never been to an airport before and he was about to learn that… You're going to embarrass yourself… a little voice jeered. She dismissed it and focused on noticing the people around them.

Isaac fell into step with her. "First time, huh?"

Robin was shocked for a second. "Am I that easy to read?" she asked.

"Maybe so.", he laughed. "It's fine. You know I go here all the time for business travel. I'll help you."

"Alright," she agreed shyly. "I've never been to an airport, much less flown before…"

"It's fun! Don't worry!", he said as he got in line for security.

She stood behind him. "It looks… um, fun?"

"It'll go quickly. We just need to put our carry-ons like wallets, purses, and phones on the conveyor belt to be x-rayed. Then we go through a metal detector.", he explained.

She nodded and watched the people ahead of her go. A word snagged in her mind: Metal detector.

He was a little embarrassed to ask. "You don't have any metal in your body, right?"
