He put his wallet and phone in a bin and held it out to her. "Put everything in your pockets here."

He put the bin on the conveyor belt and walked towards the metal detector. She looked afraid. "It won't hurt you.", he told her.

Oh, God… he's going to find out. Here comes the embarrassment… She tried to breathe, but it was uneven. "Okay," she whispered faintly.

The security guard waved them over. "I'll go first.", he told her. He got in and put his arms over his head. The metal detector spun.

She quickly shook her head. "N-Not right now…" She tried to catch her breath. "In a minute."

He felt helpless with no idea what was going on. "Are you alright?"

"Don't be sorry! Here, let's move on." He took his phone and wallet out of the bin and gave Robin's stuff to her.

Robin staggered along the first couple of steps, and when she'd fully recovered, an intense blush covered her face. "Sir– I mean, Isaac. I'm sorry," she whispered.

"I said not to be sorry. You didn't do anything wrong.", he told her firmly.

"I caused a scene," she mumbled. "What was that? You either say something, or you don't, Robin. Never mumble."

"So? You're never going to see those people again." Always act like you're going to see someone again… He couldn't let her life be led by the rules.

She sighed. "Fine. Shouldn't we get something to eat now?" She was just glad that the nightmare was over and tried not to think about landing in the next airport.

"Good idea. Follow me." He started walking.
