Eclipse followed him quietly, not sure what to do.

After they had walked a while more, probably a mile or so, Felix turned to Eclipse, who had been very quiet.
"I wish to rest soon," he said, his head lowered a bit.
Eclipse nodded, "Okay…" he said, both nervous, and also in that tone that's like, 'Why the **** are you asking me????'
group
"Let me know if you see any drier patches of ground or overhangs… any kind of place that would be better for resting," Felix clarified, "Hopefully, the rain will let up by morning."
Eclipse nodded, forcing himself to be more alert as they waled, looking for anything that could suit their needs.
group
“Thanks, mate,” Felix replied, scanning the area.
It was very dark, however, and Felix couldn’t quite see well enough to scout out much.
Eclipse eventualy spotted a thicket with thick branches. "Over there I think.." he said softly.
group
"That'll have to do," Felix murmured, "Everything else is drenched. We can work with this, plus it'll give some good cover for concealing ourselves."
He started over towards the thicket and examined the area around it, trying to figure out the best way to set up.
Eclipse hummed softly, watching him. Carefully he slipped in between the trees, noting that the grouns was slightly drier in the thickest parts.
group
Felix slid his bag into a dry part of the thicket and slid down into the dry patch of soil and leaf litter next to it. He was panting a little bit, also waiting for Eclipse to join him. Gods, he wanted to change into his dry clothes so badly.
Eclipse chose that moment to shift, transforming into a large, but rather thin and beat up wolf, creeping under the shelter of the trees he lay close to Felix for warmth.
group
Felix pulled away a few inches, shivering. He took off his drenched cloak to start with and laid it behind his bag. Then, he took his hair down from its ponytail, and it fell over his shoulders, tangled and wet with rain.
Eclipse watched him tiredly, but said nothing as he closed his eyes.
group
Felix watched for signs that Eclipse might be asleep, and once he was fairly certain, he changed into his dry clothes and draped his wet ones over parts of the thicket. Thank the gods he could finally get that damned binding off and get into something comfortable.
Then, Felix curled up on the ground and tried to sleep, but it was almost harder sleeping next to a stranger than it was sleeping alone.
Eclipse shivered slightly as he slept. His sleep was fitful, but he didn't wake despite the pouring rain around them.
group
Felix finally did manage to sleep, but he was in and out of sleep all night. The rest was tainted by strange dreams and shockingly cold air, but it would have to be enough to carry on the next day.
When he woke up for good, the sun was already most of the way up.
Eclipse was still fitfully asleep, though one wrong move ad he'd be woken up.
group
Felix peered out of the thicket to see the rain had stopped, although water droplets still occasionally dripped from trees overhead. He got up out of the dense plants and stood up, then started doing some stretches. He decided to wait a little bit for Eclipse to wake, but if he didn't wake soon, Felix would wake him instead.
Eclipse didn't wake, still sleeping fitfully, occasionally letting out a low whine.
group
After a bit, Felix sighed and muttered something to himself, annoyed.
"Didn't want to have to do this," he sighed before stepping back towards the thicket and shaking Eclipse lightly.
Eclipse jolted almost as soon as the other touched him, shifting back and scooting away, a frightened look in his eyes. He calmed a little after a few moments realizing he wasn't in the palace anymore, but he was still breathing erratically.
group
"Aw… Oh… Nightmares?" Felix whispered, "Sorry about that."
"N-No… thought… thought you were someone else…" he mumbled quietly.
group
"Oh, okay," Felix said, "Well, it's probably a good idea to get going soon. We can leave when you're ready. Take some time to get up and stretch, or do whatever, if you need to."
Eclipse hummed softly, getting to his feet. "I'm good to go whenever…" he said softly.
group
"Alright, then," Felix replied, "We shouldn't have to travel quite as far today. I need to stop in a town, and we should be there before dusk, if we're exactly where I think we are."
Eclipse nodded, waiting for him to move first.
group
Felix made sure he had his belongings together and forged ahead.
"How are your injuries today?" he asked as he started forwards, "That bruise is looking nasty, but it looks like it's probably healing."
Eclipse hummed, "o worse than usual…" he said softly, wondering how the other hadn't noticed the cuts on his back when he had shifted.
group
Felix, having been very preoccupied with his own issues and also having been practically blind at night, did not notice the actual cuts on Eclipse's back, but he definitely did notice some degree of pain when the half wolf moved, prompting him to ask.
"Well, let me know if you want me to perform any more healing spells. Little ones here and there are a pretty simple task."
