Eclipse was watching quietly, but also fiddling with the knife again balancing it on his finger.
The Prince and the Assassin (closed o/o)

Felix took the glass from Thyra and slowly sipped on the contents until it was gone.
"I'm going to rest, and when I wake, we should probably leave," he said.
Thyra crossed her arms. "But not on foot, you're not. Neither of you should keep walking like this. I'll tell you what. I'll forgo asking for payment this time, and you use that money to buy horses to travel on. Consider it a going away gift."
"That… that's a bit too generous, isn't it?" Felix asked in disbelief.
"Not for you. I've known you since before you could speak. You're not some stranger to me, Felix."
Eclipse hummed, "Horses might not be a good idea…" he said softly, "They'll sense my wolf side and spook immediately, and I can't ride…"
group
"Cart?" Felix suggested, "I can drive it, and you can sit in the back. Also, I'm a druid of sorts, and I can communicate with animals. I should be able to calm a horse and tell it that you're not a real threat. Unless you have any other ideas. I'm all out."
"The only other thing I could think of is wolfback…. but that would be worse than horseback…. uhm… yeah.. a cart might work…"
group
"Alright, let's do that," Felix agreed, "I… I think I'm going to go to sleep for a bit first. Wake me if you must."
Felix closed his eyes and was out almost immediately.
Eclipse nodded, suddenly feeling vulnerable again as the other went to sleep.
group
Felix was dead to the world. He slept a stone-cold, dreamless sleep. Without any interference, he could easily sleep for hours. Perhaps even until nightfall.
(Timeskip till when Felix wakes up?)
Eclipse hummed softly, laying his head on his hands as he pulled his knees to his chest, waiting for Felix to wake up.
group
(Yeah, sounds good)
Felix started to move a bit. His mind was cloudy, and he had no concept of what time it was when he opened his eyes. He felt less sick, but still very off. The pain was still there loud and clear, but it was manageable, at least for the time being.
Felix tugged the blankets so they wrapped snugly around him.
"Hey," he murmured, a little smile spreading over his mouth.
Eclipse had dozed off where he was, but he jolted awake when he heard the other's voice. As always there was momentary fear, before a deep breath, and subtle relaxation when he realized it was Felix.
group
Felix started to sit up on the edge of the cot, but had to stop for a few moments to ride out the pain and dizziness.
"W-what time is it?" he asked, "How long was I out?"
Eclipse hummed softly, "I… I'm not sure… I fell asleep…"
group
Felix frowned. "I think it's dark out. I don't see any light coming in through the gaps in the curtains."
He stood up, knees trembling, and he had to grab the wall to stay upright.
"We should probably leave," he said, slightly short of breath.
Eclipse immediately got up to help him. "Y-You sure? You can barely walk…"
group
"Stood up too fast," he lied, "I'll be good to go shortly."
Felix leaned up against the wall, trying to regain his balance and bearings.
"We should make sure Thyra knows we've left, too."
Elipse nodded, "Should we leave a note or?"
group
"I think she'd prefer if I told her in person. Unless-"
His eyes wandered to a dresser, where the pitcher full of elixir still sat. It had a note on it for Felix, prompting for him to take it and giving him directions. He scowled as he looked at it and started to pass it by.
"We can leave a note."
Eclipse nodded, "You really don't like that elixir do you.." he said softly, watching him.
group
"Nope," he replied simply, although there was a lot more to it than just that.
Felix hated this whole situation so much. Getting injured like that was actually the worst. He hated having to ask for help. Even more, he hated how much he had to bare to his healer, even though he had known her forever. There were just bad associations all around.
"It makes me feel sick, if I'm being honest," he said.
He was trying to stay lighthearted despite the pain and general fogginess of his head, but he wasn't sure how much more he could do or how much longer he could do this.
Eclipse hummed softly, worried for the other, "You sure you're okay? I don't want you getting hurt on account of me…"
group
"Um… maybe…?" Felix replied, "I… I'm not sure. The pain keeps flaring a lot more than I expect. And have you gone through larger than normal amounts of blood loss? Because if you know what that feels like, I'm still really feeling that right now."
Eclipse nodded sadly, "You really shouldn't be moving if that's the case.." he said softly, "You might pass out…"
group
"You're probably right…" Felix sighed, "Even if it is frustrating."
He sat down in one of the chairs, holding a hand to his side. He examined his hand and fingertips. Thyra had been kind enough to clean off the blood, but there was still a little caked under his fingernails.
"I didn't want to be stuck here too long, but it looks like my body has other plans. Too bad I can't use magic to heal myself."
Eclipse hummed softly, "I wish I could help…" he said softly, watching Felix carefully.
group
Felix leaned back into the chair.
"I'm glad I'm not alone though," he said.
His eyes flickered over to Eclipse.
"How are your wounds doing, by the way, now that they've been treated some?"
"Better than what I'm used to…" he said softly, his eyes flicking to the floor.
group
"That's good, I guess… And you won't be gaining any new ones if I can help it, so… um… Thyra left some salve for us sitting behind the elixir, so if either of us needs to use it on the road, we can," Felix said.
He took his hair down and fixed it again, into a loose bun sitting at the back of his neck.
"I feel pretty okay sitting down, actually. That's something."
Eclipse nodded, "We still need that other form of transportation…." he said softly, glad the other was feeling better sitting down.
group
"Right… I have the money, and I should be able to sit down. We just have to get to the place and make the purchase and all that. Which is easier said than done with my current state. But it's fine. We'll figure it out," Felix replied.
